Remember 8/28 was a true grass roots moment. People took off work to come on their own. They paid their own way and took time out of their lives.
10/2 was organized by unions, and in some cases, people were forced to go. The unions bussed everyone there they could get. We call this “astroturf”.
I’m sure someone will attempt to make the claim that more people were there on 10/2 than 8/28.
