One of the many hysterical attacks on the right from the left is accusing us of Islamophobia.
Stop me if you’ve heard me say this before.
There’s a word for this. It’s called “projection”.
Let’s go to the tape, shall we?
Was it the left or the right that fired Juan Williams for admitting that seeing Muslims on airplanes makes him nervous? The left. And this certainly wasn’t because what he said was “over the line”. Remember this is the person that once called Sarah Palin a “centerfold for Republican men”. No, it was because he dared say something bad about Muslims. You’re not allowed to that if you work for the Islamophobic left.
Was it the left of the right that would not allow the publishing of the Danish cartoons which caricatured the Prophet Mohammed? The left.
Was it the left or the right that would again cringe at the idea of publishing the cartons in a book about the cartoons? The left.
John Donatich, the director of Yale University Press, said the press has a long history of defending free expression, but the risk of violence in this case, outweighed the benefit of including the images, which can easily be found on the Internet.
Was it the left or the right that decided that the word terrorism should be replaced with “man-caused disasters”? The left.
Was it the left or the right that continuously defers from associating “man-caused disasters” with Muslims? The left.
Was it the left or the right that decided to prosecute Geert Wilders merely for having the temerity to speak out against radical Islam? The left.
Was it the left or the right that wouldn’t print a “Where’s Mohammed” cartoon that didn’t even include the image of Mohammed? The left.
Was it the left or the right that censored the television series South Park from showing an image of Mohammed or even talking about him? The left.
The left, particularly the MSM in the left, has made it plain that they will not tolerate anything that might offend practictioners of the peaceful religion of Islam, and if you dare attempt it, they will hang you out to dry.
Now, I ask again, who are the real Islamophobes?
