I have felt for over 40 years that boycotting the Moscow Games in 1980 was the dumbest thing that President Jimmy Carter (D-USA) ever did. And that is setting the bar incredibly high, because I actually can’t think of a single smart thing he did while President.
So, sorry. I’ll pass. Don’t make the athletes who have been training their whole lives for this become pawns in your games. Instead, go and beat the holy crap out of them.
