Memo to Woke: Women Don’t Want Men in Restroom Stall Next to Them (dailysignal.com)

This article was written by a woman, but even men know this. Heck, men don’t want men in the restroom stall next to them. We’re smelly. We make weird noises. We’re terrible at cleaning up after ourselves. You take your life into your own hands when you step into a public restroom that has been used or is being used by a man.

And those are our good qualities.

Students attending Chicago public schools can now use whatever restroom they want. The change is being made in an effort to be more “inclusive” and “equitable,” according to Camie Pratt, chief Title IX officer for Chicago Public Schools.

“All restrooms are open for use by anyone who feels comfortable,” Pratt said in a recent video announcing the change.

Pratt says the change is being made in an effort to comply with the U.S. Department of Education’s Title IX protections against discrimination, but there are serious concerns about how the policy will affect students.

Why would you think this could possibly be a good idea? Do I need to refer you to my series on Loudoun County, Virginia?

So, CPS made this announcement:

The details are frustrating, to say the least.

Some examples of the signs state: “This is a gender-neutral restroom with multiple stalls. It is open to users of any gender identity or expression.” “Men’s +: This restroom has both urinals and stalls. All who feel comfortable are welcome to use this restroom.” “Women’s +: This restroom has stalls. All who feel comfortable are welcome to use this restroom.”

And what if I’m not comfortable with either?

The announcement went over like a lead balloon.

Some comments responding on social media included:

My girls will not feel comfortable sharing a bathroom with boys. Who is making these ridiculous decisions? Who is making sure girls are not harassed or bullied in these stalls? Where can my child get privacy to ensure no boy will try to peek at her while she is in a stall?

This is backwards, not acceptable. What about the girls that have their periods that are already uncomfortable in their [restrooms] now their being subjected to having boys in there too? NO!!!!!

Wow, I guess nobody learned anything from the sexual assaults that took in place in Virginia because of similar policies. My child will never attend a school with such policies that endanger students.

The last comment should hit home the hardest. After what happened in Loudoun County, why would anyone do this? Just how stupid are you?

The judge added that it was his “intention is to enter to narrowest possible order to preserve the unions’ right to a meaningful arbitration. The balance of the City’s vaccination policy remains fully in effect, including the reporting and testing obligations.”

Nothing can undo a vaccine. Well said.

At a fundraiser for Plumbers Union Local 130 on Sunday, Lightfoot was met with boos from the crowd after she was introduced on stage, video shows.

The mayor “spoke for less than a minute. And there was a resounding booing throughout the room,” one reported attendee told the paper. “Almost deafening … I was sitting at the table with a bunch of plumbers. They’re like, ‘We’ve never heard that before here.’ … Clearly, their membership is not with her. … They were calling her names. It was bad.”

The Democrats are no longer the friend of the common man. In truth, they never were, but they hid that better. They can’t hide it anymore.

Indiana Invites Chicago Cops To Move To State: ‘We’re Hiring’ | The Daily Wire

Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) told Fox News in a statement this week, “Our police do the hardest job in the world, and they deserve respect — not losing their pay or being fired for refusing to comply with a ridiculous vaccine mandate.”

Braun is encouraging the “3,000 Chicago cops defying this government overreach” to go to his state of Indiana.

“Indiana’s police departments are hiring now and will welcome you with the respect you deserve,” Braun told the outlet.

“My office stands ready to help connect Chicago police officers to an Indiana police department that is hiring now and doesn’t have a vaccine mandate,” Braun said. “Welcome to Indiana!”

Awesome. I love sticking it to Chicago any time we can, but this is even better. Make things better in Indiana while taking advantage of Chicago stupidity.

When asked the Fraternal Order Of Police union refusing to endorse Chicago’s vaccine mandate, Lightfoot said, “What we’ve seen from the Fraternal Order of Police, in particularly leadership, is a lot of misinformation, a lot of half-truths, and, frankly, flat out lies in order to induce an insurrection. And we’re not having that.”

“And so we want to make it very, very clear that the law is on our side. We feel very confident about it,” she added. “And what we said even after when I heard that he said, even after the lawsuit was filed, we notified them, is urging members of the department to ignore their chain of command.”Lightfoot went on to specifically attack Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara, who has been urging officers to defy the vaccine mandate.

Apparently, Democrats don’t like it when Civil Disobedience goes against them. Oh wait. They don’t. We saw that on January 6th.

Lightfoot needs to work this out with her police force. This public bickering just makes the entire city look ridiculous.
