Sadly, Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia Make That Impossible

Remember that this blog describes Islamophobia as being afraid to stand up to Islamic terrorism.

Israeli Prime Minister urges countries to take a hardline stance on Iran | One America News Network (oann.com)

Yeah. The problem is that they don’t like you, and they’re scared of Iran. So, that’s not going to happen.

Israel tapped the U.S. and other countries to take a hardline stance against Iran as the countries deliberate reviving the failed nuclear deal.

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett urged countries to be wary when dealing with Iran, stressing Iran cannot continue to violate agreements while trying to negotiate new ones.

Bennett’s sentiments came after deliberations in Vienna ended in a stalemate with U.S. and foreign negotiators reporting Iran had taken a hardline stance of its own.

They already have.

Wow, Knock Me Over With a Feather

Secy. of State Blinken says Iran ‘doesn’t seem to be serious’ about compliance with nuclear deal | One America News Network (oann.com)

Like Claude Rains, I’m shocked!

See the source image

They never had any intention of complying with it. Only a complete fool would have ever thought otherwise.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed the latest round of talks with Iran and Vienna regarding renegotiating the nuclear deal from 2015, which ended due to Iranian officials not taking it seriously.

During a conference on Friday, Blinken said he believes a mutual compliance is necessary moving forward. Blaming the Trump administration for withdrawing from the deal known as the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” back in 2018.

“I think the decision to pull out of the agreement was a disastrous mistake,” Blinken stated.

A disastrous mistake for pulling out of an agreement that gave everything to the other side and that they had no interest in complying with in any case.

Your mind works in mysterious ways.

This was a fool’s bargain.

But Israel Is the Aggressor

As Biden Resumes Nuclear Talks, Iran Declares: ‘We Will Not Back Off From The Annihilation Of Israel’ | The Daily Wire

With the Biden administration set to restart a new round of nuclear talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the spokesperson for Iran’s military stated over the weekend that they will not give up their pursuit of wiping Israel off the face of the earth.

“We will not back off from the annihilation of Israel, even one millimeter,” Brig.-Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces, told the Iranian Students News Agency. “We want to destroy Zionism in the world.”

Somehow there’s never a movement in America and Europe to divest from Iran and the Palestinians. It’s only Israel.

Oddly, I Don’t Think That This Is the U.S.’s Responsibility

Senior U.S. General Says Iran ‘Very Close’ to Building a Nuclear Bomb, ‘Variety’ of Military Options on the Table (legalinsurrection.com)

Don’t get me wrong. I think it would be a disaster for the world if Iran obtains “the bomb”. But I don’t think the U.S. gets to decide who get the bomb and who doesn’t. If Iran desires it and produce it, then that’s their concern.

Time reported Gen Kenneth McKenzie’s remarks:

Less than a week before world powers resume negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, the top U.S. commander in the Middle East says his forces stand ready with a potential military option should talks fail.

“Our president said they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon,” General Kenneth McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command, tells TIME. “The diplomats are in the lead on this, but Central Command always has a variety of plans that we could execute, if directed.” (…)

“They’re very close this time,” McKenzie says. “I think they like the idea of being able to breakout.”

Moreover, I don’t think that we can prevent them from getting the bomb forever. We should be more concerned with what we’re going to do after that happens, because it’s going to happen.

Here’s Something Else That Was Better When Trump Was President

I should probably make a list at some point, but I have a feeling it’d be extremely long.

IAEA Says Monitoring Iran's Nuclear Program No Longer 'Intact' – PJ Media

Well, it’s just shocking that a weak Presidential administration with no real power in the Middle East would allow this to happen, isn’t it?

The International Atomic Energy Agency says that it no longer has access to monitoring devices keeping track of activity at a key site in Iran that manufactures centrifuge parts. This prevents the watchdog agency from assessing vital advances in centrifuge technology that could lead to a nuclear breakout by Iran in a matter of weeks.

IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi says that since the new fanatical Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, took power, his agency has had no communication with Raisi or the Iranian foreign minister. Iran has also denied the agency the ability to hold snap inspections and has interfered with the ability of the IAEA to service the monitoring equipment used by the agency. Rossi says the nuclear monitoring program in Iran is no longer “intact.”

Well, maybe you should send some people in to “fix” them and to find out what’s going on? Seems like that’s the natural next step.

This is extremely worrisome for a country that has vowed to wipe Israel off the map. They will soon have the power to do so.

It’s a Shame We Won’t Be Continuing These Policies, Then

US Sanctions Pushed Iran to Brink of Bankruptcy - Washington Free Beacon

I’d like to go much farther than just “the brink”.

Iran burned through nearly all of its cash reserves in the final years of the Trump administration as harsh economic sanctions crippled the country’s economy and brought the hardline regime to the brink of financial collapse, according to findings published by the International Monetary Fund.

The Islamic Republic had $122.5 billion on hand in 2018 and just $4 billion by 2020, when the former administration’s "maximum pressure" campaign on Tehran was at its height, according to the IMF’s 2021 Middle East and Central Asia report, which tracks the region’s economies. Iran burned through $118.5 billion in two years, nearly depleting its cash reserves. The country’s coffers are forecast to grow by several billions in the coming years as the Biden administration moves to unwind sanctions as part of an effort to reenter the 2015 nuclear deal.

Regime change must be our goal in Iran. The Ayatollahs must be removed as a political force. Economic sanctions are the best way to do that. We were soooooo close.

And now it looks like our new President will just destroy years of hard work.

“Number 2” Is What I Think Of When I Think Of Her Work In Iran, so It Fits.

Senate confirms Wendy Sherman for No. 2 post at State Department - Al Monitor: The Pulse of the Middle East (al-monitor.com)

Sherman was the lead negotiator for the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. The debate over her nomination mostly focused on the agreement, which the Biden administration is currently seeking to reenter.

Yeah, she’s definitely a “number 2” person. The entire Iran deal was a “number 2”, as I’ve mentioned before.

Well, The Original Deal Was Incredibly Stupid, So It Makes Perfect Sense That Biden Would Want to Reinstate It

Administration Open to Creating 'Road Map' Back to Iran Deal – PJ Media

Remember, America got nothing out of this deal. It endangers our closest ally in the Middle East. And Iran is the greatest state sponsor of terror in the world.

There is absolutely no upside to this deal. For America or its allies.

[T]he Biden administration appears willing to go to any lengths to entice Iran back into full “compliance” with the agreement begun during the Obama administration. Instead of taking small steps to build trust that Iran would keep its word, the U.S. now appears willing to lift all remaining sanctions on Iran in exchange for the promise of later negotiations.

You can’t even spin this in a way that’s good for America. There is absolutely nothing in it that benefits America in any conceivable way. Pursuing it is madness, or complete ineptitude, or complete idiocy. Or possibly all three.

Since its Failure was a Good Thing, I’m not Sure Why you Would Do This

Secy. of State Blinken says Biden wants to restore failed Iran Nuclear Deal | One America News Network (oann.com)

[T]he secretary told reporters he believes the nuclear deal with Iran can be restored despite Tehran’s latest efforts to enrich and stockpile radioactive material. He suggested the U.S. could make new concessions to the Iranian demands.

I’m sure we could make new concessions. I can’t honestly think of a reason we would even be tempted to do so, however.

Also, remember that this, and the Paris Climate Agreement are unconstitutional treaties. Neither has been approved by 2/3 of the Senate, and neither ever will be.
