Is the idea that you want people now to kind of wrap their heads around that the President, instead of shutting down the virus, is going to try to help people live amidst the virus and go about their lives but COVID is going to be here?”

Psaki said that what was needed was “approximately 20 percent of the population or more people than are currently vaccinated to go get vaccinated and go get boosted.”

“We need the American people to do more — who are not vaccinated — to help us continue to fight the virus,” Psaki added.

Later in the same briefing, a reporter asked the acting undersecretary of science and technology for the Department of Homeland Security, Bill Bryan, “The president mentioned the idea of cleaners, like bleach and isopropyl alcohol you mentioned. There’s no scenario that could be injected into a person, is there?”

It was Trump who replied, “It wouldn’t be through injection. We’re talking about through almost a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work. But it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object.”

But lying about Trump and things Trump didn’t say has become such a habit for the left that they can’t stop.

Jen Psaki Tests Positive for COVID – PJ Media

“On Wednesday, in coordination with senior leadership at the White House and the medical team, I made the decision not to travel on the foreign trip with the president due to a family emergency, which was members of my household testing positive for COVID-19,” Psaki said in a statement. “Since then, I have quarantined and tested negative [via PCR] for COVID on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. However, today, I tested positive for COVID. While I have not had close contact in person with the president or senior members of the White House staff since Wednesday — and tested negative for four days after that last contact — I am disclosing today’s positive test out of an abundance of transparency.

It sounds like she likely did not infect the President, which is good. Hopefully, the spread from her will be limited, if not zero.

Sounds like she is also recovering well, which is again, good.

Actually, the first thing they do is cut back on employee expenses by reducing wage growth, cutting benefits, and cutting jobs.

Then they go after the consumers of their goods and services, with higher prices.

Lastly, they reduce dividends to shareholders.

Obviously, the President’s commitment remains not raising taxes for anyone making less than $400,000 a year. There are some — and I’m not sure if this is the case in this report — who argue that, in the past, companies have passed on these costs to consumers. I’m not sure if that’s the argument being made in this report. We feel that that’s unfair and absurd, and the American people would not stand for that.

It’s neither unfair nor absurd. The unfair and absurd bit is actually raising the taxes. When you increase the expense of doing business, that cost has to be made up somewhere. It’s absurd to think otherwise. And criminally stupid.

Yeah, the problem is that while things were nowhere near perfect before, they were demonstrably better than they are now. And these “Republicans giving speeches” are basically saying, “hey, let’s do what was working a year ago”, and you’re saying no.

Seems like the partisan stubbornness is on your side, Jen.

A White House sign language interpreter has become another victim of “cancel culture” after the mainstream media found out she was Trump supporter.

According to reports, Heather Mewshaw has not been called back to the White House since an article revealed she manages an ASL team that translates speeches at conservative events. Mewshaw said she was “cancelled and humiliated” after facing harassment and intimidation online.

So, now they don’t have interpreters every day. It was more important to them to shame a Trump supporter than it was to be accessible to the deaf.

White House Correspondent Whines that Kayleigh McEnany was Abusive

Yahoo News White House correspondent Brittany Shepherd came down hard on former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. She compared McEnany's White House briefings to “having a really bad ex-boyfriend. We were getting essentially abused by Kayleigh for so long.”

Awww…poor widdle snowfwake had some wough days at work.

I miss Kayleigh. Some of the best White House press briefings I’ve ever seen. And unlike Psaki, she came to the briefings prepared. She had an answer for anything that anyone in the press asked. She never had to “circle back”.

Sheperd’s problem is that she didn’t like McEnany’s answers. That’s because usually the answers showed that the person asking the question was either an idiot or a hypocrite or both.

The press thinks they’re better than you. They don’t like being challenged. McEnany challenged them to do their homework. They failed. And she called them on the carpet for it.

I have no sympathy for Shepherd whatsoever. Do your job and the press secretary won’t be able to make fun of you or make you look ridiculous.

Well, now you see why she wanted the questions in advance. She’s not even prepared for easy ones like this. Say what you want about McEnany, she was always prepared. She had that binder with her and could quickly get to whatever she needed. And she was dealing with a much more hostile press.
