n this particular story, a 400-pound black bear set out to follow his nose and wandered all the way from his home in Osceola National Forest to a residential area in Alligator Point, Florida. When he was discovered shuffling through one of the residents garbage, wildlife authorities set out to capture and return the bear back to his forest home…this is when things started to go horribly wrong.

Horribly wrong, how, you ask?

After being hit with a tranquilizer dart, the bear took off towards the ocean and hopped into the water.

As he was swimming out into the Gulf, the tranquilizers began to kick in and he became drowsy and started to drown.

Now, the bear is not fully unconscious at this point, just drowsy.

Still…

Luckily, Adam Warwick, a biologist with the Wildlife Commission was nearby…

Without even flinching at the size and strength of the bear, Warwick grabbed a hold of the floundering animal.

The bear was beginning to lose feeling in his legs and struggled to crawl onto Warwick to stay afloat.

He managed to drag the bear to shore.

WaPo Issues Major Corrections To Reports On Steele Dossier | The Daily Wire

The Post rewrote parts of stories published in March 2017 and February 2019, removing claims in the stories that the Steele dossier’s “Source D,” who is responsible for some of the most salacious and outrageous claims in the document, is Belarusian American businessman Sergei Millian.

“The newspaper’s executive editor, Sally Buzbee, said The Post could no longer stand by the accuracy of those elements of the story,” the Washington Post reported, in a separate story on the changes it made. “The story’s headline was amended, sections identifying Millian as the source were removed, and an accompanying video summarizing the article was eliminated. An editor’s note explaining the changes was added. Other stories that made the same assertion were corrected as well.”

“The Post’s decision to edit and repost the Millian stories is highly unusual in the news industry,” the Post added.

Durham’s indictments have made these stories unsupportable. But don’t worry. They’ll stick with them as long as they can. And it doesn’t matter now, anyway. The stories accomplished their purpose, which was to hinder and weaken President Donald Trump (R-USA). And the corrections won’t get much publicity. People will continue to think that Trump colluded with the Russians.

Media Lose It Over Rittenhouse Judge’s Joke About Asian Food And Supply Chain Holdups | The Daily Wire

The media lost their collective mind of a completely innocuous joke the judge overseeing the Kyle Rittenhouse case made about lunch coming late to the courthouse on Thursday.

“I hope the Asian food isn’t coming … isn’t on one of those boats from Long Beach Harbor,” Judge Bruce Schroeder said.

The joke could not be more harmless. All Judge Schroeder did was joke that the food, hopefully not, but possibly being held up by a supply chain delay. He also described the food the court ordered as “Asian.” One would assume that was because the food they ordered was, uh, Asian.

Seems pretty innocent. But not to our media.

NBC News dialed up the drama, too, running this headline: “Judge in Kyle Rittenhouse trial faces backlash for Asian food joke.”

USAToday ran with this gem: “‘How not to be a good judge’: Kyle Rittenhouse judge draws new backlash with ‘Asian food’ joke.”

The Independent claimed the joke was off-color: “Kyle Rittenhouse trial: Judge’s off-colour ‘Asian food’ joke draws more scrutiny onto courtroom comments.”

“Judge In Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Called Out For Strange Joke About ‘Asian Food,'” HuffPost headlined.

Uh huh. Pretty sure it was a joke about the supply chain issues, not about Asians. How could you possibly misread that? You’re so anxious to be offended by something that you’ve completely turned off your brains. You’d have to be a complete idiot to take offense at this. Or crazed. Or both.

Either way, you’ve lost it. And when it’s lost, all that’s left is a loser.

He has no shame.

And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son, he defamed him,” Wendy Rittenhouse told Hannity.

I’m guessing he’s lost her vote.

Kyle Rittenhouse is not a white supremacist. He’s not a hero, either. He’s just someone who did the best he could in a terrible situation. Unfortunately, two people died as a result of Kyle’s actions, but they have no one to blame for their deaths but themselves.

Johnson & Johnson is separating into two different companies, keeping its medical tools and prescription medication disconnected from its company that will sell everyday items such as Band-Aids, baby powder, and items like Listerine.

As reported by The Wall Street Journal:

J&J will shed its consumer division in 18 to 24 months, Chief Executive Alex Gorsky said. J&J decided to make the change, he said, because the businesses, their customers and markets have diverged so much in recent years, including during the pandemic. Lawsuits that alleged use of Johnson’s Baby Powder caused cancer didn’t play a role, he said.

I’ll Keep Saying That the Truth Doesn’t Matter to These People

Instagram censors suggestions Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense (reclaimthenet.org)

This was before the verdict was delivered, but it doesn’t matter. People should have the right to express their opinions on a trial in progress. And in fact, we now know that the jury decided Rittenhouse did act in self-defense.

So, Instagram was completely wrong and censoring based upon their own beliefs, not on the truth.

In a follow-up post on Instagram, Sarmo was incredulous that the video from the courthouse – which is otherwise being shown on news outlets, without censorship by social media – was qualified as going against the rules enforced by Facebook’s image sharing platform.

The comment Sarmo added to the video showing the distressed teen take the stand said that what the media had done to Rittenhouse was “evil,” and added, “Prayers up for Kyle as he has to relive through this trauma.”

Instagram said this went against its guidelines on violence or dangerous organizations, and the giant stuck to its guns even after Sarmo appealed against the decision to delete the post.

Sarmo wasn’t the only one. Many other users reported similar issues with Instagram.

Ashley St. Clair, a political commentator, also says that Instagram removed a video she posted that showed Kyle Rittenhouse crying during the ongoing trial. Instagram claimed the video violated its policies on supporting violence and dangerous organizations.

“Instagram removed the video I posted of Kyle Rittenhouse crying,” St. Clair explained in a Nov. 10 tweet. “It apparently violates their guidelines on *squints* violence & dangerous organizations. Give me a break!”

Stupid. And wrong. And anti-freedom.

I Really Can’t Stand Racism

I can’t even describe how wrong this is.

Lee told “PopSugar” that after a night out with friends — all of Asian descent — in Los Angeles, and while waiting for an Uber, a car sped by with its occupants yelling at the group to “go back where you came from” and also shouted a racist comment. Lee said her arm was hit by pepper spray by one of the occupants of the vehicle.

“I was so mad, but there was nothing I could do or control because they skirted off,” she said in the interview. “I didn’t do anything to them, and having the reputation, it’s so hard because I didn’t want to do anything that could get me into trouble. I just let it happen.”

This makes me so mad. I can’t blame Biden for this one. Racism against non-black ethnic groups has been on the rise for more than a decade, probably since 9/11. Whatever happened to “the Great American Melting Pot”? How do we get it back?

This is awful, and completely embarrassing. It makes the United States look like a laughingstock on the world stage. President Joe Biden (D-USA), this is all your fault. You did this. Even I can’t believe what you’ve done to this country in less than a year.

On Tuesday, the Biden administration official — who also served as Federal Reserve Chair from 2014 to 2018 — touted the “Build Back Better” agenda to Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal.

“Well, I think the economy needs it, and the people need it… It is really intended to address long-standing problems that have been holding this economy back,” she argued. “It’s meant to boost long-term economic growth and to address inequities.”

We’re already at 70s level;s, and BBB is going to make things worse, not better. And Yellen knows both of these things. But as I keep saying, truth doesn’t matter. Power is what matters to the Democrats. BBB is designed to increase Democrat power. It is not designed to help people. It certainly isn’t designed to lower inflation.
