Biden Says He’d Be Willing To Lose Presidency Over Disastrous Afghanistan Withdrawal | The Daily Wire

In a just world, there are already about a dozen things in not quite a year, that would cost him the White House.

“You mean, you’re willing to lose your presidency?” Braver asked, seemingly shocked.

“My presidency, that’s right,” Biden trumpeted. “Because I’m gonna stick with it. There’s certain things that are just, like for example Afghanistan. Well, I’ve been against that war in Afghanistan from the very beginning. We were spending $300 million a week in Afghanistan, over 20 years. Now, everybody says, ‘You could have gotten out without anybody being hurt.’ No one’s come up with a way to ever indicate to me how that happens. … And so, there are certain things that are just so important.”

He’s not totally wrong on Afghanistan. His predecessor was in favor of getting out also. But there’s a difference between an organized withdrawal and completely abandoning your allies and the troops. He should lose his job over this.

“The withdrawal from Afghanistan over the summer was widely criticized,” NBC News’ Kristen Welker said. “There are increasing tensions with China and Taiwan, and now you have Russian troops amassing on the border with Ukraine. Candidate Biden campaigned on a pledge to restore America’s credibility on the world stage on his foreign policy experience. Is he living up to that pledge?”

“Well, Kristen, he also campaigned on a promise to bring an end to a 20-year war that should have ended 10 years ago and to bring our troops home, and not to send another son, grandson, granddaughter, or daughter into a war that the Afghans aren’t willing to fight themselves,” Psaki snapped back, ignoring that tens of thousands of Afghan nationals died in the fight for their country. “He also pledged to stand up for democracy and pledged to stand up for countries like Ukraine and their territorial integrity. And that’s something that he is standing up for and vocally doing now, and raising concerns he has about the bellicose rhetoric and the military buildup.”

That’s a long list of things that Biden “pledged to stand up for”. And if he was keeping those pledges, he wouldn’t have a “disastrous foreign policy record”.

A group of several former U.S. Navy SEALs who are now running for U.S. Congress slammed President Joe Biden during a Fox News interview this week over the administration’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan back in August.

“If the Biden administration is so concerned about saving American lives with these mandates, these mask mandates and so on so forth, why don’t they mandate we rescue our citizens and save their lives as well over in Afghanistan?” asked Morgan Luttrell, who is running in Texas’ 8th Congressional District. “I was fortunate enough to run into an interpreter that served with us overseas for so long, in the past couple of weeks, and his family is still over there. And he pleaded with us, he begged us, he’s like, ‘Who do I need to get to help me get my family over?’ He spoke perfect English. Where’s that at?”

“All Biden has to do is say, let’s do this,” he continued. “Let’s mandate this; task Milley, task Austin, and go get our people.”

Someone needed to say that. Even better that it came from a former Navy SEAL.

Good question, though. Why don’t we go rescue our people, Joe? Are you that weak and cowardly? Do you want America to appear that weak and cowardly?

This is awful, and completely embarrassing. It makes the United States look like a laughingstock on the world stage. President Joe Biden (D-USA), this is all your fault. You did this. Even I can’t believe what you’ve done to this country in less than a year.

“We believe it’s certainly most likely in the dozens, but one of the reasons we put the memo out last week was to encourage service members to come forward,” Kirby said, later adding, “We’re working this as hard as we can. We take the obligation seriously to our people and to their families.”

President Biden, you did this. This is 100% your fault. We have American families left behind in an area you abandoned. You are a coward and you have betrayed America.

CNN sent a camera crew to film a family in Afghanistan selling their 9-year-old daughter to an old pedophile for $2000. The crew not only interviewed the family and knew that they were selling her to buy rice and flour, but they filmed the entire transaction–including the girl being dragged off while resisting and put in a car. The crew that works for a global network worth billions of dollars did not offer to buy the family food so they didn’t have to sell their daughter. They just watched a child being sold into some kind of sex slavery as a “wife.”

The cameras roll as the child applies makeup in preparation for her new “husband.” The father says he has “no choice” but to sell his daughter for food since the Taliban takeover dried up the humanitarian aid he was receiving. The cameras roll as an old man comes to collect his purchase and drags her away as she struggles. No one does anything. The child disappears into the Afghanistan desert as the voiceover says, “The child’s fate has been sealed.”

Yes, it’s monstrous that the CNN crew did nothing to stop this. But pay attention to what the father said. He had no choice since the Taliban takeover.

Joe Biden, this is your fault. You horrendous coward. You are a terrible excuse for a human being.

As the Biden administration focuses on paying non-residents who broke our laws, the State Department admits that perhaps 14,000 legal permanent U.S. residents remain stuck in Afghanistan.

This revelation comes 11 long weeks after President Joe Biden said, “If there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out.”

That was a lie, since 77 days later, there are still Americans trapped in Afghanistan — including two dozen schoolchildren.

This is criminal dereliction of duty.

In some excellent reportage this week, Foreign Policy magazine notes that the State Department “faces increasing scrutiny from Congress about the status of U.S. citizens and green card holders that are still stranded in the Taliban-controlled country.”

Embattled Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently told CNN that the administration struggles to get a precise figure of how many Americans were left in Afghanistan because more and more are coming forward to request help getting out.

Less talk. More action. Bring our people home now.

Then remove this coward from office.

Afghanistan Collapse Coming 'Faster Than We Thought' – PJ Media

Everyone knows that Afghanistan is hurtling toward an economic collapse. The writing has been on the wall since the Taliban took control of the country at the end of August.

But to government ministers from two separate countries are now saying that Afghanistan is on the brink of a historic humanitarian catastrophe unless billions of dollars in frozen assets are released immediately.

Pakistani Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry says that the only way to prevent “catastrophe” is “direct engagement” with the Taliban.

“Are we going to push Afghanistan into chaos or are we going to try and stabilize the country?” he asked in Dubai.

Working with the Taliban won’t stabilize the country. They’ll just keep taking whatever money and supplies you want to offer and use them however they wish. You’ll be paying them trillions forever.

The only way to stabilize the country is to get the Taliban out.

If only we had a way of doing that…

This is sickening.

The Taliban killed a female volleyball player last month. They beheaded her. It was something we knew would happen, but hoped and prayed it wouldn’t.

As we noted in our coverage of the Afghanistan crisis, the kinder, gentler Taliban was and is, in fact, the same Taliban who nearly destroyed Afghanistan all those years ago. The same terrorists that Obama freed from GITMO are once again running the country. And they are imposing their rules right and left.

The Taliban imposed further restrictions on female city government employees in Afghanistan’s capital on Thursday, barring many from returning to work next week in a sign that the group will continue to restrict women’s rights despite two decades of freedoms under the previous government.

Women are now restricted from working, going to school, and playing sports. In fact, as we noted a couple of months ago during the height of the Afghanistan debacle, sports teams and musical groups went into hiding because they KNEW what the Biden Administration and the stupid asshats at the State Department refused to acknowledge. The Taliban are and always will be terrorists.

Well, as I said. We already know the answer. He’s a very weak man, and a horrible President.

Again, this is dereliction of duty. At some point, it becomes more a question of “why” this man has not been impeached yet, than whether or not he should be.

This is a disgrace.

Biden Administration Denies Bipartisan Lawmakers From Inspecting Afghan Refugee Holding Facility (lifezette.com)

This is actually quite odd. I honestly can’t think of a reason why they’d do this. And I’m not being sarcastic.

Representative Darrel Issa for California, one of the delegation members said the group included House Foreign Affairs Committee members. Yet, the White House still denied them access to Camp As Sayliyah. 

Speaking to reporters, Issa said officials “never let us meet with the 2,300 remaining America-bound refugees, maybe some of whom are American citizens and others who are green card holders. We think the number one classified piece that they were protecting is called embarrassment. Many of these people have stories of the difficulty getting out, the lack of cooperation or help by the State Department, and now they find themselves being artificially held longer in some cases. We think it’s just that they don’t want people telling their stories.”

Hmm. Embarrassment. Possibly. There’s a ton of stuff out there making the Biden Administration look bad. I guess they don’t feel like they need one more, and this one they can stop.

But, honestly, is it likely to be that bad compared to all the other things? Hmm…maybe it is. I dunno.

Robert Gates, the secretary of defense under former President Barack Obama, said that President Joe Biden’s disastrous pullout from Afghanistan made him physically sick to watch because it did not have to be as bad as it was.

Gates warned back in 2019 that Biden was had been “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

Gates made his new remarks about the disaster in Afghanistan during an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” which is set to air on Sunday.

“It was really tough for a few days there, I actually wasn’t feeling very well,” Gates said. “And I realized it was because of what was happening in Kabul. And I was just so low about the way it had ended if you will, and, and I guess the other, the other feeling that I had was that it probably did not need to have turned out that way.”

When co-host Anderson Cooper brought up that Biden said any withdrawal is messy, Gates responded, “Certainly the military considers the withdraw the most dangerous part of an operation, but, but they really had a lot of time to plan, beginning with the deal that President Trump cut with the Taliban, so that was in February of 2020.”

And this guy hates Donald Trump (R-USA), so for him to come down so hard on President Joe Biden (D-USA), you know it’s bad.

Campus Reform | WATCH: 'He's Failed': Students Disown Joe Biden After Endless 'Disaster'

The vast majority of students who said they voted for or supported Biden’s nomination expressed regret for supporting him. One student said, “He’s failed a lot on a lot of his promises”. Another, speaking on Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, called it a “disaster."

When asked about Biden’s “Build Back Better” campaign slogan, students were not convinced he had done so.

“If you’re looking at the straight facts, it’s apparent that he’s not [building back better],” one student said.

Students then told Campus Reform they were not likely to support Biden for a second term.

Well, that’s encouraging. Let’s go to the tape.
