LeBron’s Too Busy Whining About Fans and Punching Other Players to Talk to Enes

Enes Kanter Freedom Willing To Have ‘Very Uncomfortable Conversation’ With LeBron James On China | The Daily Wire

“Sure, I’d love to sit down and talk to him,” Freedom said according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN. “I’m sure it’s going to be a very uncomfortable conversation for him. I don’t know if he’s gonna want that. I’ll make that really comfortable for him.”

“I don’t know if he’s educated enough, but I’m here to educate him and I’m here to help him, because it’s not about money. It’s about morals, principles and values. It’s about what you stand for. There are way bigger things than money. If LeBron stopped making money now, his grandkids and grandkids and grandkids can have the best life ever.”

Wow, that’s pretty condescending. Not that LeBron doesn’t deserve it, but wow.

Kanter has criticized James and others in past weeks for staying silent on China while they “pretend they care about social justice.”

Social justice outside of America isn’t really the NBA’s thing. It really isn’t the NBA’s thing inside America either, but they pretend that it is.

Sadly, the Status Update Does Not Include an Apology to the Fans

NBA Releases Status Update On The Two Fans Who LeBron James Had Ejected From Game | The Daily Wire

No lifetime ban? For mocking a player? I’m glad. I’m officially appalled that such a thing was even considered. But I’m glad it was rejected.

Pathetic.

The whole thing is pathetic.

The NBA is pathetic.

Pacer Fans Mock Lebron and Get Ejected. This Is What the NBA Has Become.

Geez, what a whiner.

In the video below, starting at around the :25 second mark and lasting for several seconds, one of the two people who were tossed from the game appears to be waving their arms in James’ direction.

About 10-15 seconds later, James is seen grabbing an official by the arm, bringing the official to where the fans were seated, and pointing at the individuals in question while yelling: “It’s right f***ing here!”

The two people were quickly escorted out of the game.

Pathetic. LeBron is pathetic. The NBA is pathetic. And the Pacer organization is pathetic for not standing up for their fans. The Pacers should give them free passes for the rest of the season in apology.

LeBron, you’re a big crybaby.

“I mean nothing is uncomfortable for me, but there’s a difference between cheering on your home faithful, booing opponents and things of that nature or not wanting your opponents to be successful, and there’s then moments where it goes outside the line with obscene gestures and words that shouldn’t be tolerated in our game from nobody,” James responded. “I would never say it to a fan and a fan should never say it to a player.”

James did not make any claims about what the two fans said or did, and there were only unsubstantiated rumors online speculating about what happened.

“There was a lot of negative reaction online to the incident, with many calling James ‘LeSnitch’ or ‘LeKaren’ for getting the fans ejected,” The Daily Wire reported. “Some said that the incident was what ultimately makes NBA legend Michael Jordan better than James because they said that Jordan would not have the fans ejected.”

Good for Him

I remember “World B. Free” and “Metta World Peace”.

Report: Enes Kanter To Change Last Name To ‘Freedom’ | The Daily Wire

I keep saying that the NBA can deal with one person who isn’t on board with their bow to China policy, but Kanter, err, Kanter Freedom, is starting to get noisy enough that they may need to take steps.

Unfortunately, he’s probably getting popular enough that they can’t take steps. They waited too long, and now it’s going to blow up in their faces.

You can add Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter to the list of NBA players who have officially changed their names during their playing days.

On Sunday, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Kanter will legally change his name to Enes Kanter Freedom as he prepares to become a U.S. citizen on Monday.

“Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter is legally changing his name to Enes Kanter Freedom, [The Athletic] [Stadium] learned,” Charania posted to Twitter. “Kanter will be his middle name, Freedom is his new last name. He becomes a U.S. citizen on Monday.”

Good on him. I look forward to him taking on this fight. I may even start watching the NBA, or at least the Celtics. Wow, me a Celtics fan. Who would have ever dreamed that.

Would You Give Your Energy to Those Suffering Under Communist China Rule?

‘He’s Definitely Not Someone I Would Give My Energy To’: LeBron James On Enes Kanter’s Criticism | The Daily Wire

Kanter has more class in his little finger than you do in your entire body LeBron. You should be hoping he’d give his energy to you.

Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter has been using his platform to advocate for human rights around the world, taking aim at the Chinese government for their human rights abuses.

It’s wonderful to see an athlete protesting actual injustice instead of the made up kind.

As The Daily Wire reported, Kanter took to social media on Thursday with a message for James accompanied by pictures of his custom footwear.

“Money over Morals for the ‘King’ Crown. Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice,” Kanter said, referring to James. “They really do ‘shut up & dribble’ when Big Boss [Flag of China] says so. Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?”

It will be interesting to see what happens here. Someone like Kanter was always inevitable. The NBA is so woke and so much of a suck up to China that it’s ridiculous. You had to know that not everyone would be 100% on board. It will be interesting to see if anyone follows Kanter down this path. One malcontent the NBA can smooth over. A movement is a problem for it.

Following the Lakers’ 130-108 loss, James was asked if had a reaction to Kanter’s shoes “in his advocacy for human rights.”

“No, I think if you know me, I don’t really give too many people my energy,” James said. “He’s definitely not someone I would give my energy to. [He’s] trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself. Definitely won’t comment too much on that …”

Personally, it seems to me that LeBron is very brittle here. I think he knows he’s on the wrong side.

You Should Not Give the NBA Any of Your Money

Famously Woke NBA Releases Statement On Rittenhouse Verdict, Claims Rittenhouse’s Attackers Were Peacefully Protesting | The Daily Wire

I’ve been saving this picture. This is an example of the “peaceful protests” in Kenosha.

Car_Source_Kenosha_Burned_out_car_lot

The NBA should be ashamed for defending this. Everyone who has defended this should be ashamed.

By the way, this is exactly where Kyle Rittenhouse was. He was trying to defend this car lot.

Disgusting.

For the record, has the Kenosha rioters actually been “peacefully protesting”, I would be on their side. As this blog has made quite clear, I am an unabashed supporter of free speech. I set the bar extremely high to impose any restrictions upon it.

Arson, rioting, looting, vandalism do not constitute free speech. They are theft and acts of violence.

If you’re on the side of that, I will never be on your side, and you are not on the side of American liberty.

He’s Not Breaking the Rules Yet, but They’ll Figure Out Something

Kanter Blasts NBA, Claims He Was Asked To Remove ‘Free Tibet’ Sneakers For Fear Of Being ‘Banned’ | The Daily Wire

“I have been talking about all the human rights violations and injustice [happening] in Turkey for 10 years, and I did not get one phone call. I talk about China one day … I was getting a phone call once every two hours,” the basketball player said.

Kanter then told Amanpour that when he first donned his “Free Tibet” sneakers on the court in Madison Square Garden, “two guys from the NBA” approached him and said that he needed to remove his shoes. When the officials allegedly told him that he wasn’t actually breaking any rules, Kanter kept his sneakers on, and the officials apparently later apologized.

“[I’m] getting ready for my citizenship test, and I’ve been studying really hard, and there’s 27 amendments, and my First Amendment is the greatest amendment, is the freedom of speech,” Kanter reportedly told the officials.

The NBA often submits to the will of the Chinese. I’m sure they will find a way to make Kanter’s shoes illegal and yet still support BLM and other approved causes.
