This Can’t Be Good

Record 4.4 Million People Quit Their Jobs in September – PJ Media

It exceeded the previous record set in August.

In August, 4.3 million people — a record number — quit their jobs for a variety of reasons. It was believed that once the labor market began to settle down after the disruptions caused by the pandemic those numbers would ease and the demand for work would catch up with the supply of jobs.

That may be the case, but not in September. A record 4.4 million workers decided to leave their jobs, raising the specter that the disconnect between the number of jobs and people looking for work would continue to dampen economic growth.

The specific industries being affected by people leaving their jobs reveal one aspect of the crisis: In a flush labor market, many workers have the luxury of changing careers for better pay, benefits, or both.

Washington Post:

In September, the number of quits increased in arts, entertainment, and recreation (+56,000); a category labeled “other services” (+47,000); and state and local government education (+30,000). In general, industries with the highest percentages of workers quitting include trade, transportation, and utilities, particularly retail, professional and business services, and leisure and hospitality industries like arts and entertainment, and hotels and restaurants. A whopping 6.6 percent of workers in accommodation and food services quit their job in the month.

The South, the West and Midwest have the highest numbers of workers quitting their jobs, at 3.3, 3.1 and 3.0 percent, while only 2.2 percent of workers in the Northeast are quitting jobs.

You see this if you go out to eat or even get takeout. There are no workers in restaurants. I took my daughter out to eat for her birthday. We had a 45 minute wait to get a table and the restaurant was almost empty. They didn’t have enough servers or kitchen staff to handle even a light capacity.

All of this is driven by mask and vaccine mandates and the fear of the China virus that we have instilled in the American people. We have got to get over this and return to our lives. It’s the only way this is going to get better. it’s the only way the Global Supply Chain is going to get better. It’s the only way the economy is going to get better.

And What Do You Do if the Mayor of the City and the Governor of the State Tell the Police to Stay Away?

Don Lemon Rips Rittenhouse: ‘Vigilantism … If I See Someone Breaking The Law, I Call The Cops’ | The Daily Wire

When you #DefundThePolice and tell rioters and looters to go ahead and do whatever they want, and that the police won’t stop them, you get vigilantes.

Speaking on Friday morning, CNN’s Don Lemon, who looked at the riots plaguing the country in 2020 and tried to justify them, ripped into Kyle Rittenhouse, responding to CNN’s Brianna Marie Keilar calling his actions “white wannabe vigilantism” by agreeing it was “vigilantism,” snapping, “This is the ultimate entitlement,” and adding, “If I see someone breaking the law, I call the cops.”

In January, Lemon justified the protests that had plagued the country with violence and looting during the summer of 2020 as he compared them to the Capitol riot on January 6, saying, “I’m sick of people comparing. You can’t compare what happened this summer to what happened at the Capitol. It’s two different things. … One is built on people, on racial justice, on criminal justice, right, on reform, on police not beating up – or police treating people of color differently than they do whites. Okay? That is not a lie. Those are facts. Go look at them.”

Look. This is very simple. You don’t want people to get shot and killed at riots? Don’t encourage riots. When they happen, shut them down. If that had happened, Rittenhouse’s attackers would still be alive today and Rittenhouse would likely have never traveled to Kenosha.

But you can’t encourage people to get out there and destroy a city and not expect a response. That’s insane and stupid. You should be happy that there weren’t a thousand more incidents like Rittenhouse’s.

Your last name is perfect, Don. You are a Lemon. And you suck.

You Have to Wonder if This Was Part of the Goal From the Beginning

The FBI Raid of Project Veritas Turns Into a Massive Scandal After Privileged Communications Are Leaked – RedState

But what was so disturbing, besides the raids happening in the first place, was how quickly The New York Times knew about them. While O’Keefe was asked by the FBI to keep quiet, the Times knew within hours, pointing to a leaker within the bureau.

But while the Department of Justice requested us to not disclose the existence of the subpoena, something very unusual happened. Within an hour of one of our reporters’ homes being secretly raided by the FBI, The New York Times, who we are currently suing for defamation, contacted the Project Veritas reporter for comment. We do not know how The New York Times was aware of the execution of a search warrant at our reporter’s home, or the subject matter of the search warrant, as a Grand Jury investigation is secret.

Days later, O’Keefe would have his home raided as well, and sure enough, the Times once again knew it about it before anyone else. Are you noticing a pattern? Because it’s about to become as obvious as a neon sign.

This is a government operation using The New York Times as an accessory, to defame and destroy Project Veritas and James O’Keefe.

Don’t believe me?

Two days ago, a court ordered the FBI to stop extracting data from O’Keefe’s phones, which had apparently been seized. Again, all of this is being done under the allegation that…a diary was stolen. But then last night, things boiled over into outright scandal. The Times suddenly started publishing privileged communications between Project Veritas and its legal team. Those messages apparently came from one of O’Keefe’s phones.

And again, the Feds get an assist from the NYT.

This is deliberate collusion between a major media source and the government. It’s awful and sickening.

You Can’t ”Support” Journalism With Censorship

Facebook partners with New Zealand media for funding, will help outlets censor "false comments" (reclaimthenet.org)

Garlick denied that the New Zealand journalism program is not a way to keep media organizations from demanding deals such as those afforded to Australian media houses and she also made a commitment to helping news outlets censor “potentially litigious” comments.

There were several strategies to prevent “false comments” being posted, Garlick said, according to RNZ.

The other aspect mentioned by the announcement was that Facebook was committed to help all page administrators to “better moderate” their comments.

Every day we descend further into a world where no one is allowed to say anything or express any opinion not approved by the government.

And What if the Tech Isn’t Accurate?

Infrastructure Bill To Force Automakers To Include Tech To Stop Drunk Driving | The Daily Wire

I think in the end, we just won’t be allowed to drive our own cars anymore. Self-driving cars will do it all for us.

One part of the $1 trillion infrastructure package, hailed by President Joe Biden as a “monumental step forward for the nation,” is a new requirement for automakers to find a technological tool to prevent drunk driving.

“Under the legislation, monitoring systems to stop intoxicated drivers would roll out in all new vehicles as early as 2026, after the Transportation Department assesses the best form of technology to install in millions of vehicles and automakers are given time to comply,” reported The Associated Press.

Alex Otte, the national president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, described the legislation as “monumental,” and the “single most important legislation” in the group’s history that marks “the beginning of the end of drunk driving.”

I really can’t argue with the necessity of eliminating drunk driving and I’m not going to try.

I wonder if this is the best way to go about it, but I don’t have any better suggestions to offer either.

I’ve been claiming for quite some time that they’re eventually not going to allow us to drive at all. This is just the next step in that process.

I don’t know how upset I am about that either. We will finally have flying cars soon, and frankly I don’t trust many of my fellow drivers in a car that can move in three dimensions. I think once we have flying cars, they will have to be self-flying. All of them.

I’m Seeing More and More of These

Calif. school district will not comply with vaccine mandate | One America News Network (oann.com)

A school district in Sacramento, California unveiled they will not be following Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D-Calif.) coronavirus vaccine mandate.

The announcement came Wednesday, after the Calaveras Unified School District voted to not “support, enforce or comply” with the order Tuesday night. Earlier this month, the district noted they were made aware of potential impacts of liability exposure, funding loss and other formal actions that could be taken against the district. However, they held strong in their unanimous decision.

I guess Resistance is Not Futile.

100 Years of Walking the Walk

10 days ago was Veteran’s Day, formerly called Armistice Day, in honor of the WWI Armistice, which occurred on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 1918.

Three years after that, to the day, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery was presented to the American public for the first time.

For the last 100 years, it has been ceaselessly guarded by American Soldiers.  11 November, 2021 was the 100th anniversary.

Honoring 100 years of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier | One America News Network (oann.com)

I’ve been to Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas many times. The Tomb of the Unknowns is my favorite place to visit there.

Thank you, President Joe Biden (D-USA) for participating in this day with dignity and honor.

Joe Biden marked Veterans Day at the Arlington National Cemetery with a unique ceremony. Biden laid a wreath at the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier” on Thursday, commemorating 100 years of the memorial.

“Our veterans represent the best of America,” Biden told the crowd in attendance. “You are the very spine of America. On Veterans Day and every day we honor that great debt, recommit ourselves to keeping our sacred obligation as a nation.”

Civilians were allowed to visit the back part of the tomb and place flowers there. This is the first time this has been allowed in 100 years. It may be another 100 years before it’s allowed again.

What a wonderful moment for these fortunate people. I would not have been able to do it without breaking down in tears.

Stop Means They’ve Already Started

We really need to get to the bottom of why this investigation is even taking place. Someone needs to be asked some pointed questions, and they better deliver direct answers.

Judge Orders FBI to Stop Search of Project Veritas Founder O'Keefe's Phone Following Raid – PJ Media

The FBI has been ordered by a federal judge to stop plundering information from James O’Keefe’s phone following a raid on his home and other properties connected with Project Veritas last weekend.

The raid was a chilling and frightening overreach by law enforcement of protected journalistic work product. O’Keefe has said that his phone offers a window into what other projects he and his staff are working on — projects the Biden Administration may not want him to cover.

The FBI raided O’Keefe’s apartment about 6 a.m. on Saturday with a phalanx of agents taking his electronics and other information, which they claimed would help discover how the journalist came into possession of President Biden’s daughter’s diary.

This is a frightening attack on Freedom of the Press.

I’m Sure He’s Glad to Have It

Trump endorsements lately have been like blessings from the Pope.

President Trump endorses Rep. Pfluger for reelection in Texas | One America News Network (oann.com)

President Trump has thrown his support behind Texas Rep. August Pfluger (R) for reelection in 2022.

“I’m honored to have his endorsement again, to keep fighting for what we need in District 11, exactly what he did; for our energy security, for agriculture, for a strong border security. Thank you Mr. President for fighting, not just for Texans, but for all Americans,” said Pfluger.

Pfluger is a conservative Republican representing Texas’ 11th Congressional District. A decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Col. Pfluger logged more than 300 hours of combat against ISIS and served in the Pentagon and NATO command.

I Know This Doesn’t Have Anything to Do With Education, but OMG

Can Loudoun county get any more screwed up?

112 Loudoun County Children Given Adult Doses of COVID Vaccine. Pharmacy Is Sorry for the 'Inconvenience' – PJ Media

Loudoun County, Va., is in the news again, but this time it’s not about raucous school board meetings or parents being branded terrorists. According to Washington News4, 112 young children were given the wrong dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine—one meant for adults—at a Ted Pharmacy in Aldie.

Dasha Hermosilla told News4 that her 7-year-old daughter was given a dose of the vaccine meant for those 12 and older.

The Loudon County Health Department’s “clinical guidance” document notes that the 0.3 ml dosage that the children were given “is authorized for individuals 12 years and older only” and the approved dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children 5-11 is 0.2 ml.

Before you go thinking that it’s just an increase from 0.2 to 0.3, no big deal, remember that’s a 50% increase. If I were a parent here, I’d be screaming for someone’s head. Delivered to me on a silver platter.
