This Could Get Interesting
Chris Cuomo Preparing To Take The Fight To CNN With Massive Lawsuit: Report | The Daily Wire
Normally I don’t care about these sorts of squabbles. But the rumors are that there’s a lot more corruption at CNN even than is generally known, and that Cuomo has the details. In writing or on tape.
Former CNN host Chris Cuomo is reportedly planning on taking on his former network by filing a massive lawsuit to get tens of millions of dollars that he believes is still owed to him on his contract and to “likely” seek damages from his recent firing.
“Cuomo, 51, has hired lawyers and is preparing to file the lawsuit over the remainder of the four-year contract he signed last year — after a bitter back-and-forth about what the network knew of his secret efforts to aid his embattled brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo,” the New York Post reported. “His contract was reportedly worth $6 million annually, leaving between $18 million and $20 million that he would be owed, sources said, adding that Chris Cuomo would also likely seek damages.”
A CNN insider said that the far-left network has “no intention of paying Cuomo a penny” because “if he gets a settlement, there would be uproar.”
We’ll see what happens.

In Fairness, Acosta Is an Idiot
Jim Acosta Seems To Claim Mitch McConnell Would Trash Filibuster If He Could; Forgets He Could Have – And Didn’t – In Six Years | The Daily Wire
Not only could he have, he was pressured to do so from many directions, including the White House. So, to even imply that McConnell would do it is to show a stunning amount of ignorance, even for someone employed by CNN.
Acosta: Democrats could think about it this way: If Mitch McConnell were in their shoes, what would he do? Given what we know, would we see him letting the filibuster stand? Is the filibuster more important than election rights, women’s rights… pic.twitter.com/90ZwDIoAdT

Still, it hardly seems like this could have been a surprise to CNN either. But, at least we know.
What a scumbag. Just like his brother, apparently.

CNN Terminates Chris Cuomo ‘Effective Immediately’ Over Scandal | The Daily Wire
So, they suspended him pending review.
“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense,” CNN said in a statement. “We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately.”
To me, this is the curious bit.
“While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light,” the network added. “Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.”
What information could they possibly have uncovered this quickly that would be worse than what we already know?
Tune in later for more details.

CNN Runs Propaganda Piece on Inflation
CNN Story Says ‘Inflation Can Actually Be Good For Everyday Americans.’ Here’s What CNN Published Two Weeks Ago. | The Daily Wire
CNN is running some serious spin here for the Democrats. Try to imagine them saying the same thing if the Republicans were in charge.
CNN posted an article on its website Wednesday titled “Why inflation can actually be good for everyday Americans and bad for rich people” by CNN senior editor and business writer Allison Morrow. “[O]n the whole,” she writes, “many working-class Americans” will benefit from rising prices caused by the devaluing of the U.S. dollar, “especially those with fixed-rate debt like a 30-year mortgage.”
There’s a lot of nonsense in the piece about wages catching up to inflation, and being able to benefit if you have a fixed rate mortgage, etc. The problem is that there’s a long lag between wages catching up, and sure being able to benefit on the mortgage is nice, but doesn’t help me buy groceries.
Also, it’s stupid to say that this helps the lower or middle classes more, because it’s the affluent who are most likely to benefit from mortgage wins.
Here’s what’s been said about inflation n the past, including by CNN:
Traditionally, economists have called inflation “the cruelest tax,” because it hurts the poor, minorities, and people on a fixed income the worst. CNN has reported this fundamental economic principle numerous times, as recently as two weeks ago.
- On November 17, CNN published an article titled “The Americans who are getting the worst of the surge in inflation.” which stated that inflation-drive price hikes “disproportionately harm low-income, [b]lack and brown families. If left unaddressed, escalating food costs will not only make it difficult for these families to put holiday meals on the table; such costs will significantly exacerbate longstanding inequities in hunger and nutrition”;
- In July, a CNN headline stated, “Inflation will hurt low-income Americans for years to come.” Its author, Dana Peterson, wrote that “lower-income families and retirees on fixed incomes will especially feel their buying power erode — not just in the short-term, but for many years to come, further widening the nation’s wealth gap”; and
- In a May article on CNN.com titled “Everything is getting more expensive. That’s especially bad news for low-income Americans,” Anneken Tappe and Nathaniel Meyersohn wrote, “The inflation spike … has been harder for those at the bottom of the income ladder.”
This was all before they realized how much inflation is hurting the Democrats. CNN can’t have that. Have to run protection for the party of choice.
Why people hate the news media.

Media ”Never Really Liked” Andrew Cuomo
Do I have to go find the fawning praise lavished upon him myself? What a joke!
CNN Suspends Cuomo Over New Info Involving Brother; Cuomo Claims Media ‘Never Really Liked’ Brother | The Daily Wire
Chris Cuomo weighed in on the allegations made against his brother during an interview on SiriusXM, saying, “The game has rules.”
“And one of the general principles is you can fight against the other party, and you can fight against the media, but only if you have your party,” Chris Cuomo said. “Andrew had his party enforcing a rule against him that if you have accusations, you have problems, and you don’t really get to really vet the accusations, and you don’t get to go against your accusers.”
Yes, Andrew Cuomo is the true victim here.
But let’s not forget Chris:
“CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was suspended indefinitely by the network on Tuesday in the wake of new details about his efforts to assist his brother,” The New York Times reported, adding that while Chris Cuomo had apologized for advising his brother “thousands of pages of new evidence released on Monday by the New York attorney general, Letitia James, revealed that the anchor’s role had been more intimate and involved than previously known.”
I love it. These clowns will never get what they deserve, but at least they’re getting something.
The Corrupt Investigating the Corrupt
CNN Plans ‘Thorough Review’ After Document Dump Suggests Chris Cuomo Had Larger Role Advising Andrew Cuomo | The Daily Wire
CNN first became aware in May that the “Cuomo Primetime” host had advised his brother on how to handle allegations of sexual harassment and assault, and opted at the time not to suspend him. Instead, the network issued a statement calling the move “inappropriate” and saying that he would “not participate in such conversations going forward.”
So, here’s the thing. They knew. CNN knew. They just didn’t do anything about it. They didn’t care. It wasn’t until it became public and made them look bad that they did something. You can definitely believe that if this had stayed under wraps, Chris Cuomo would still be happily hosting his show.
The corrupt investigating the corrupt.

Who Couldn’t Have Seen This Coming?
‘Business-As-Usual’: Transcript Shows CNN’s Chris Cuomo Looked Into Ronan Farrow’s Investigation Into Andrew Cuomo, Shared ‘Intel’ | The Daily Wire
According to a newly-released transcript of Ronan Farrow’s testimony to New York state investigators in July, a text exchange indicates that CNN anchor Chris Cuomo looked into Farrow’s reporting about Governor Andrew Cuomo and relayed information to his brother’s inner circle, days before it was published
“Farrow, who famously won the Pulitzer Prize and helped launch the #MeToo movement with his reporting on disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, also took a deep dive into alleged sexual wrongdoing by former Gov. Cuomo, the CNN anchor’s older brother,” reported Fox News.
“Chris Cuomo admitted to contacting colleagues of Farrow for updates but claimed it was simply ‘business-as-usual’ to employ such methods,” Fox’s report continued. “Text messages released by state investigators showed top Andrew Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa asking about ‘intel’ the CNN anchor had about Farrow’s report on March 15, to which he replied it wasn’t ready for publication. Farrrow’s story was eventually published on March 18. “
Nice having a brother on the inside. Didn’t end up helping Andrew in the long run, though. Too bad.
Looks like we’re getting two takedowns in the Cuomo family for the price of one.

Brian Stelter Lives in a Bubble World
He’s not affected by the high price of gas, or of food. He probably doesn’t have any relatives in Afghanistan or in the armed forces. He doesn’t live near riot areas, or near places that are being looted.
Brian Stelter: The Reason Americans Think Biden Is Failing Is Because Fox News Told Them So | The Daily Wire
Fox didn’t tell me any of those things. Well, I might have heard about the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan there. The rest of it I can see with my own two eyes.
CNN anchor Brian Stelter seems entirely convinced that the media is at least partly to blame for President Joe Biden’s polling problems — and he even went so far as to suggest that Americans believe Biden is failing to deliver on his campaign promises because negative chyrons on Fox News told them so.
This is rich after his own network spent four years over-hyping every tiny thing in the Trump presidency and contributed its own made up stories to increase the hype.
“If Biden’s strategy is quiet, his detractors are trying to be loud, making the meta story about a guy who failed to deliver, and citing supply chain woes to make those tales sound real,” Stelter added, saying that it no longer mattered if gas prices came down, store shelves were fully stocked, and packages were delivered on time — because the people would believe the stories rather than their own experiences.
Did he just completely forget everything that happened in 2017 through 2020? Biden gets gift after gift from the media. His entire Presidency is a gift from the media. Don’t whine to me about Biden and the media. I’m not that dumb. Even if you are.

It Never Had Any Credibility
You just pretended it did, and now you’ve been caught lying.
CNN: ‘The Credibility Of The’ Steele Dossier ‘Has Significantly Diminished.’ Network Now Has ‘Legitimate Questions’ | The Daily Wire
Remember, you used this to try to bring down a Presidency. Now, three years later you think it’s okay to just say “whoops” and move on? This is the reason people were screaming “impeachment” on the day President Trump took office. Do I need to remind you of the Steele Dossier hysteria?
These videos show the hysteria you tried to drum up. And it was all based upon a lie.
Now you have “legitimate questions”.
“[F]ive years later, the credibility of the dossier has significantly diminished,” wrote Marshall Cohen in an article posted on CNN’s website last Thursday.
“Legitimate questions are now being raised about the dossier — how it was used by Democrats as a political weapon against Trump, how it was handled by the FBI and US intelligence agencies, and how it was portrayed in the mainstream media,” belatedly stated the 3,820-word article, titled “The Steele dossier: A reckoning.”
In fact, federal sources shredded the credibility of the dossier years ago. Robert Mueller noted in 2019 that his “investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded in his December 2019 report that the dossier had “zero” corroboration. We now know that as early as December 2016, before Trump took office, Obama administration Assistant Attorney General Bruce Ohr expressed doubts because the report’s primary subsource, Igor Danchenko, lived in Washington, D.C. Danchencko has since been indicted for lying to federal officials about his sources

They Didn’t Get the Facts Right, Because the Facts Weren’t Important to Them
Rittenhouse Defense Lawyer Rips MSNBC, CNN For Missing ‘Basic Facts’: ‘It Makes Me Angry’ | The Daily Wire
“I can say this: much of the coverage at the beginning was wrong. The trial proved that,” Richards said. “Just in the last two weeks, you know, you people may not believe this, but I watch MSNBC, CNN. I’m not a big Fox guy. And when I hear Joe Scarborough saying my client shot his gun 60 times, that’s wrong. When I hear some guest host on Joy Reid say my client drove four hours to go to a riot with his AR, that’s wrong. It’s false.”
“It makes me angry that they can’t take the time to at least get the generic, basic facts correct because it didn’t fit in the story they wanted to tell,” he said.
Maybe you should become a Fox guy.
What is the point of watching a “news source” that isn’t interested in getting the facts straight? Do you think this is the only time they have done this? If they can lie about one thing, they can lie about anything. A new source that lies has zero value.
“I can say this, that when I got involved in this case and there were a couple of other prominent lawyers who were involved and trying to make some calls and I said, ‘Look, all of your riches and civil lawsuits are going nowhere if this kid gets found guilty of anything, so let’s worry about what’s important.’ And ultimately no actions were filed by Kyle or on behalf of Kyle while I was representing him,” Richards said.
He was quite critical, and deservedly so, of Rittenhouse’s former attorneys, who seemed to be in it for the fame and glory, not for the kid. This guy was in it for the kid. I like that about him.

CNN Backtracks, Fearing Lawsuit?
This is an odd take from lefty CNN. It’s odd because it’s the…err…correct one.
CNN’s Cuomo: Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Verdict Was ‘Justified’: ‘What We Should Want Every Time’ | The Daily Wire
This network has invested quite a bit of time and energy into stoking the fires of racial injustice. They’ve been doing it for years, and hit it particularly hard during the Rittenhouse saga. They also came down pretty hard on Rittenhouse himself, swinging dangerously close to libel.
Suddenly, one of their loudest voices reverses course? Smells like fear of a lawsuit to me.
Liberal CNN Host Chris Cuomo said that the Kyle Rittenhouse trial was justified by the law and the facts, despite his contention that the outcome was an instance of “systemic racism.”
During the handoff segment of his show, “Cuomo Prime Time,” Cuomo told fellow CNN host Don Lemon that he thought the verdict and the subsequent protests were “a terrible situation,” and pointed out that because of systemic racism, “you’re going to have people saying if he was black, this would be different.”
He did concede, however, that the verdict “is justified by the law and the facts,” and “that’s what we should want every time.”
“We want this outcome no matter who the defendant is,” Cuomo said.
I absolutely agree with that last bit from Cuomo. Justice is supposed to be blind. A white man shouldn’t get special treatment because he’s white. And Rittenhouse didn’t. He got the treatment he should expect. In fact, he got worse, because his case should have never gone to trial.
But also, we shouldn’t see a black man get worse treatment because he’s black. And that does happen far more than it should. Not as much as some people claim, but enough that it’s a problem. So, Cuomo is right. We want this outcome no matter who the defendant is.

Strong Words. Back Them Up.
‘I Would Like To See CNN Evolve Back To’ Doing News, ‘Actually Have Journalists’: Incoming Top Shareholder | The Daily Wire
CNN should “evolve back” to covering news and “actually having journalists” on the payroll, which would be “new and refreshing,” according to the leading force in the company poised to buy out the ratings-deprived Cable News Network.
Liberty Media Chairman John Malone said “good journalism could have a role” in any company he controls, implying that would require major changes at the nation’s first 24-hour news network.
If I were employed in front of the camera at CNN, I think I would be nervous for my job.
“I would like to see CNN evolve back to the kind of journalism that it started with and, you know, actually have journalists,” Malone replied, adding that the presence of bona fide journalists on CNN “would be unique and refreshing.”
As a former CNN watcher, I would love that also. Maybe they could bring back Headline News, which was terrific with Don Harrison.

Don’t worry. I won’t be doing this much. I’m almost caught up to the end of the actual trial.
Jeffrey Toobin: It seems like Kyle Rittenhouse has a 'plausible case of self defense' – HotAir
But point two is the more significant one coming from a professional legal analyst. “The good news for Kyle Rittenhouse is that he’s not on trial for being an idiot,” Toobin said. He continued, “He’s on trial for homicide and in that respect I mostly agree with Joey that this is a tough case for the prosecution because it does seem like he has a plausible case of self defense.” [emphasis added].
It’s good that he got his hands out of his pants long enough to figure that out.
Toobin isn’t the only analyst on CNN today arguing that things aren’t going well for the prosecution. After the judge in the case gave the prosecutor a tongue lashing today, analyst Paul Callan commented that “this prosecutor seems to have made an enemy of the judge.” Callan then explained the Wisconsin law that regulates “propensity evidence.”
The second half of this clip shows two more analysts reacting to that same moment. Civil Rights Attorney Areva Martin agrees that the prosecutor was “pushing the envelope.”

Accuser details sex assault allegations against CNN's Don Lemon (nypost.com)
Accuser Dustin Hice made the comments on Monday’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” even as Lemon’s attorneys have fought back against Hice’s lawsuit in court filings, accusing the ex-bartender of withholding texts, deleting social media posts and hiding a witness who contradicted his claims.
Hice claimed in his suit that Lemon had put his hand down his own pants, rubbed his private parts and then shoved his fingers into Hice’s face.
Well, that’s quite…interesting. Always knew Don Lemon was not a class act. Now we have alleged proof.

Joe Biden, You Caused This
CNN Films Child Trafficking Transaction and Does Nothing to Stop It – PJ Media
If this doesn’t make you sick to your stomach, you’re inhuman.
CNN sent a camera crew to film a family in Afghanistan selling their 9-year-old daughter to an old pedophile for $2000. The crew not only interviewed the family and knew that they were selling her to buy rice and flour, but they filmed the entire transaction–including the girl being dragged off while resisting and put in a car. The crew that works for a global network worth billions of dollars did not offer to buy the family food so they didn’t have to sell their daughter. They just watched a child being sold into some kind of sex slavery as a “wife.”
The cameras roll as the child applies makeup in preparation for her new “husband.” The father says he has “no choice” but to sell his daughter for food since the Taliban takeover dried up the humanitarian aid he was receiving. The cameras roll as an old man comes to collect his purchase and drags her away as she struggles. No one does anything. The child disappears into the Afghanistan desert as the voiceover says, “The child’s fate has been sealed.”
Yes, it’s monstrous that the CNN crew did nothing to stop this. But pay attention to what the father said. He had no choice since the Taliban takeover.
Joe Biden, this is your fault. You horrendous coward. You are a terrible excuse for a human being.

Now the Rittenhouse Judge Calls Out the Media
He’s just not winning any friends on the left.
“So, anything that undermines public confidence in what happens here is very important,” Schroeder continued. “It’s important for this town. It’s important for this country to have people have confidence in the result of this trial — whatever it is. And I don’t care what it is.”
The media, he said, are “saying things that are totally bizarre.” CNN’s Toobin and “another attorney” on the network discussed the “uncommunicated threat rule,” an “ancient rule of our law,” the judge outlined, the report said.
“This was on CNN — Jeffrey Toobin and another attorney there … A comment was made that the ruling was incomprehensible,” the Schroeder explained. “And I think they obviously are not familiar with this rule. That’s our law. That’s the law in the Jackson case; it’s the law in the case of the United States against Craig A. Smith, which is 230 federal second 300, a Seventh Circuit case from 2000. This is admissible evidence.”
Basically: media, spend less time talking, more time listening. You might learn something and then be able to repeat it correctly.
