People Like This Need to Be Removed From Office Immediately, if Not Sooner

Colorado’s Democrat Governor Signs Executive Order To Turn Away UNVACCINATED From Hospitals (lifezette.com)

YHGTBFKM.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D) signed an executive order this week that allows hospitals to turn away those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Polis’ order reportedly gives health care professionals the authority to prioritize crisis care under the direction of the state health department.

“If you are unvaccinated, a regular trip to the grocery store, a night out to dinner are more dangerous than they have been at any point during this pandemic,” Polis said, according to NBC News. “The delta variant is brutally effective at seeking out the unvaccinated, like a laser-guided missile.”

Pretty sure this is illegal. Absolutely sure it’s immoral.

You Feel Like the Tide Is Turning Against the Mandate

Democratic Governor Comes Out Against Biden Vaccine Mandate – PJ Media

Kansas Democratic Governor Laura Kelly announced her opposition to Joe Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate, saying she doesn’t think it’s the “correct” or “most effective” move.

Kelly is up for re-election in 2022 and she believes the “vaccinate or test” mandate won’t serve as a “solution for Kansas.”

“It is too late to impose a federal standard now that we have already developed systems and strategies that are tailored for our specific needs,” she said.

She’s a Democrat governor up for re-election in a Red state. So, she realizes what her voters want to hear. But that doesn’t make the statements any less accurate.

The Democrats Must Absolutely Hate Having to Give Up on This

‘On The Verge Of Being Unstoppable’: Democratic Governors Association Abandons Florida 2022 To DeSantis, Report Says | The Daily Wire

They really hate him. Giving up on Florida in 2022 must be causing them to tear their hair out. And while 3 years is an eternity in politics, particularly in the 21st century, this signals that they’ve likely given up on Florida in 2024 as well, particularly if DeSantis is the Republican nominee.

Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis, who won a razor-thin 40,000 vote victory against Democrat Andrew Gillum in 2018, has now become such a formidable political leader that the Democratic Governors Association will not give any significant financial aid to any Democrat opposing his reelection in 2022, according to a report in Politico.

Ouch.

“The perception that DeSantis is unbeatable has left national Democratic groups like the DGA to weigh whether they should spend resources in Florida, a hugely expensive state with 10 media markets, or use that cash to help incumbents in cheaper states,” Politico added.

He is a force, to be sure. An unstoppable one? Time will tell.

Have You Noticed That the Left’s Answer to All Problems Is ”More Government Power and Less Individual Freedom”?

Al Gore proposes mass surveillance to find climate change culprits (reclaimthenet.org)

Ye Gods, it’s like we’re living in the Soviet Union in the 70s.

In an interview on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, he touted the Climate TRACE technology, saying it would help reveal the identities of those responsible for greenhouse gases emissions. The government and climate change activists could use the data to hold greenhouse gases emitters accountable for “destroying” the environment.

But wait, it gets worse.

“And next year we’ll have it down to the level of every single power plant, refinery, every large ship, every plane, every waste dump, and we’ll have the identities of the people who are responsible for each of those greenhouse gas emission streams, and if investors or governments, or civil society activists want to hold them responsible, they will have the information upon which to base their action and holding them responsible,” he added.

Welcome to the surveillance state, where everything you do is monitored by the government and must be approved by them.

And We Need These, Why?

Errors in Scotland's vaccine passport stop tens of thousands of vaccinated people from fully participating in society (reclaimthenet.org)

More than 40,000 people in Scotland have issues with their vaccine passports. The errors are further interfering with the way of life of many people as vaccine passports are required to enter most entertainment and non-essential venues.

Yes, let’s stop people from being able to go about and live their lives because vaccine passports that we don’t need don’t work.

The errors include the number of doses received, incorrect names and addresses, and “data flow issues” as a result of an individual having received the vaccine at a GP that’s not included in the “national system.”

Scotland introduced vaccine passports in July, initially in paper form before an app was introduced in September. The vaccine passes are required to access most entertainment venues.

Brilliant.

It’s Not Going Well for the State in Wisconsin v. Rittenhouse

Today, however, was even worse.  Two of the state’s own witnesses, and arguably their star witnesses with the greatest immediate personal knowledge of the events surrounding the shootings—journalist Richard McGinnis who was filming and interviewing Kyle that night, and former Army Infantryman Ryan Balch, who was also armed along with Kyle that night—provided lengthy testimony that not only failed to assist the state’s efforts to attack Kyle’s claim of self-defense, their testimony substantively strengthened that claim of self-defense.

He goes on:

What I saw over the first two days of this trial was a bunch of testimony that contributed nothing substantively to degrading any of those four elements, and thus nothing to disprove Kyle Rittenhouse’s claim of self-defense.  There was simply no substantive evidence that undermined any of those four elements of Kyle’s self-defense claim.

What I saw from the State’s witnesses today, however, was far worse.  Not only did their testimony—the testimony which is supposed to be the building blocks for the destruction of the claim of self-defense—not undermine Kyle’s self-defense, much of today’s testimony actually strengthened Kyle’s claim of self-defense.

And perhaps even worse, ADA Binger’s attempts to badger the witness’s testimony into something that might in one’s wildest imaginings resemble a tool to bludgeon self-defense resulted only in him appearing intellectually desperate, and in his witnesses becoming visibly resistant to his badgering.

The prosecution doesn’t have a case, which hampers their ability to present one pretty significantly. Thus, they have to have to resort to distractions and attempt to make Rittenhouse look bad.

Racism Rampant on MSNBC

Quelle surprise!

MSNBC Slammed Over ‘Disgusting Racist Rant’ Attacking Black Republican: ‘Unbelievably Insidious’ | The Daily Wire

Watch this, if you can.

At least they got properly slammed for it.

A few of the better responses:

  • Colin Wright, evolutionary biologist: “This is one of the more disgusting racist rants I’ve heard in a while. The ideology producing this is unbelievably insidious. I just can’t fathom how so many self-proclaimed “anti-racists” are unable to see this rant as the epitome of what they claim to be against.”
  • Brian Riedl, economist: “This is more racist than anything you’ll see on Fox News.”
  • The New Liberals Podcast: “I’m on my way to a nice date, so I don’t want to get my blood up, but: It offends me to my very bones that this is accepted in polite society. It offends me that the host nods along. It offends me that his mic wasn’t cut. It offends me that he’ll be praised for saying this. I likely would not have voted for @WinsomeSears , had I had the opportunity. But she is her own woman. She is not a g*****n puppet. Show some respect.”
  • Rita Panahi, political commentator: “Disgusting racism from @MSNBC These ‘anti-racists’ are proudly, boldly racist. Gross.”

Notice that some of these are from the left.

Racism is racism no matter where it comes from. Personally, I find the left to be far more racist than the right in almost every way. But, when I see it on the right, I call it out there too. It’s disgusting and vile and should not be tolerated, even (especially) if it’s from people you otherwise agree with.

Once Again, Manchin Is Right

Manchin Doubles Down On Paid Family Leave Stance | The Daily Wire

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) doubled down on his stance against including paid family leave in the Democrats’ massive social spending reconciliation bill on Thursday, even as House leaders attempted to secure a vote on the bill.

It’s worth pointing out that he’s not opposed to paid family leave. In fact, he’s in favor of it. He just thinks it should be in a separate bipartisan bill that is supported both by businesses and the government.

Manchin said he doesn’t think paid family leave belongs in the bill, saying, “That’s a piece of legislation that really is needed from the standpoint: if we do it and do it right.”

He said a policy of paid family leave with participation between employers and workers should be completed, saying, “We can do that in a bipartisan way. We can make sure it’s lasting.”

The problem with a lot of things like paid family leave, is that while they sound great (and probably are) for most Americans, you have to make a way for small businesses to have it without bankrupting them. Very few small businesses would be able to afford such a cost, and without it they can’t compete for talent with bigger businesses.

We ran into this ourselves when I was running a consulting company. We didn’t have health insurance for the longest time, and then when we finally did, it cost more and offered less than what other companies were able to offer.

I Don’t Know Why Real Guns Would Be On Any Hollywood Set In the 21st Century

‘The Rock’ Vows To Stop Using Real Guns On His Movie Sets | The Daily Wire

“I can’t speak for anyone else, but I can tell you, without an absence of clarity here, that any movie that we have moving forward with Seven Bucks Productions — any movie, any television show, or anything we do or produce — we won’t use real guns at all,” Johnson told Variety.

“We’re going to switch over to rubber guns, and we’re going to take care of it in post,” the actor added. “We’re not going to worry about the dollars; we won’t worry about what it costs.”

Johnson’s move comes in the wake of the death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The 42-year-old was shot by actor and co-producer Alec Baldwin on set after he was reportedly told that his gun was “cold.”

I’ve always felt that Dwayne Johnson is a smart guy. Amazing. Maybe they do teach things at the University of Miami.

This Matters Because They Used This False Story to Delegitimize and Weaken a President

And it worked too. Without the ongoing drumbeat of “Russia! Russia! Russia!”, Trump may have been re-elected.

I’ll have more on this in the coming days. Power Line Blog has for years called this the worst political scandal in American history. And they may be right.
