Since when does the U.S. beg OPEC for anything? We certainly didn’t during the last four years, when we were essentially energy independent by being a net oil exporter. We were able to set the prices, or force them down anyway, and were able to do it in spite of OPEC. If she doesn’t understand that or won’t take action to do it, then she’s not capable of doing her job.

He said they’re strategically placing the containers to channel migrants into areas where more police and Border Patrol agents are available.

“It’s a tool that the governor is using to try to help slow down, curb this invasion, this invasion that we’re seeing at our southern border,” said Nehls.

There is a total of 1,250 miles of border in Texas. Nehls said it’s a lot of area to cover, but Texas is doing the federal government’s job for them because they refuse to do it on their own.

I applaud Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) for doing this. I hope other states follow suit.

Once Again I Ask Why We Are Requiring Vaccinations?

I’m vaccinated. I don’t regret it. I also think that most people who are not getting the vaccination are being stubbornly foolish.

The company said when combined with a low dose of ritonavir and taken within five days of the onset of symptoms, it cut severe illness and death attributed to the coronavirus by 89%.

"Today's news is a real game-changer in the global efforts to halt the devastation of this pandemic," Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said in a statement.

"These data suggest that our oral antiviral candidate if approved or authorized by regulatory authorities has the potential to save patients' lives, reduce the severity of COVID-19 infections, and eliminate up to 9 out of 10 hospitalizations."

A witness at the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse testified Friday that one of the men Rittenhouse shot was holding a gun that was loaded and ready to be fired.

Jason Lackowski, the seventh witness called by the prosecution, said he helped Gaige Grosskreutz, who survived after Rittenhouse shot and injured him in his right arm during riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last summer. Lackowski said he helped apply a tourniquet to Grosskreutz’s arm and emptied his handgun, and that was when he observed that the gun had a bullet in the chamber.

Rittenhouse’s defense attorneys asked Lackowski about what he heard the crowd yelling, and Lackowski testified that he heard a protester shout “Get him!”

Remember, the defense is merely trying to show that Rittenhouse had reason to believe that his life was in danger.

In an article on its website, KHN said the New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority is denying $500,000 death benefits to the families of the unvaccinated subway, bus and commuter workers.

"It strikes me as needlessly cruel," lawyer Mark DeBofsky, who represents workers in benefit disputes, told CNN.

Other employers are are considering the federal vaccine mandate as justification for denying potential death benefits, or insurance claims based on someone's vaccination status.

Days after announcing that he would not be seeking reelection, the RINO Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) has revealed that he is considering running for president in 2024.

Kinzinger told CNN that he is at least considering a gubernatorial run in 2024, and if not that, then a presidential one.

“The key is, how do we restore the honor of the party in the country?” Kinzinger said, adding that he “definitely” would not rule out a 2024 run for the White House.

The first step in restoring honor to the party is getting rid of people like Kinzinger.

Kinzinger is one of the ten Republicans who voted in favor of impeaching former President Donald Trump earlier this year. In his video in which he revealed he would not be running for reelection, Kinzinger appeared to stand by his impeachment vote, saying that he was fueled by supporters who told him to “be my own man and to never ‘do what they tell you to do.'”

Standing up being your own man, I support. Voting against your President on false charges trumped up by a rabid opposition party is something I can neither forgive nor forget.

So, sit down, shut up, and go away, Kinzinger.
