We Can Officially Stop Calling It ”Alleged” Now

Oh, and we’re back in Loudoun.

Loudoun County Student Won’t Contest Sexual Battery Charge (dailysignal.com)

Our transgender rapist is not disputing the facts of the case.

A juvenile court judge found the same male student guilty of sexually assaulting a different female student in an October case, Fox 5 DC reported. The “no contest” plea in this second case “means the boy is not admitting guilt, but he is not disputing the facts,” according to Fox.

So, we now know that he raped the girl in the girls bathroom. Good. Now we need to figure out what to do about it.

By the way, I am not insensitive to the plight of the people with gender dysphoria, or to the fully transgendered. I think we need to accept people for who they are and to make accommodations however we can.

I object to a person using that to be able to commit crimes. People like the rapist in this case are not helping the transgendered cause and shouldn’t be used as a martyr. I have my doubts as to his transgenderism. I think he just wore a skirt so he could get into the girls bathroom.

We should all be able to agree that this is a bad thing, regardless of our gender identities or our feelings on transgenderism.

This Seems Fair

High School Girl Suspended After Reporting Sexual Assault. Principal, Asst. Principal Suspended With Pay. | The Daily Wire

A North Carolina high school principal and assistant principal have been suspended with pay following an investigation which found that a high school student was suspended after she reported being the victim of a sexual assault. After the suspension of Hawthorne Academy High School Principal Diann Weston and assistant principal Nina Adams was announced, the mother of the girl who reported the assault stated, “My daughter wants everyone to know that she thanks them and it makes her feel she has more support. … We never expected to get as much publicity as we did but we want everyone to know that things like this should be heard and not hidden.”

So, apparently they did their own “investigation” and found there was no “credible evidence” to the girl’s claims. So they suspended her and made her take classes on harassment.

Maybe they were right. Maybe she lied. Maybe she didn’t. Not enough facts in the article to decide. But it was right to suspend them. You don’t get to conduct an investigation in the dark and then blame the accuser in a rape case. Yes, rape accusers do lie. But if you claim one is, you better bring a strong case to back that up. It does not appear that they did.

And This Is Why Elections Matter

Can you see this happening in a Terry McAuliffe administration? Me neither.

Virginia Attorney General-Elect to Investigate Sexual Assaults in Loudoun (dailysignal.com)

Miyares also said he plans to push for legislation, which was discussed on the campaign trail, that allows his office to take over when chief law enforcement officers think the state’s prosecutors are not sufficiently doing their job.

Miyares added his support for “a bill that would essentially say if the chief law enforcement officer in a jurisdiction, either the chief of police or the sheriff, makes a request, because the commonwealth’s attorney is not doing their job, then I’m going to do their job for them.”

More, he clarified that he is thinking “specifically” about “some of the so-called social justice commonwealth attorneys” who have been elected “particularly in Northern Virginia.”

Miyares said Virginia has seen some “pretty horrific cases” that have been made public where state prosecutors have failed to do their job. He said that he wants to bring victims back to the forefront of the process based on his own experience as a prosecutor.

Nice. I think it also means that I’ll have more to blog about in Loudoun county.

The Boyfriend Got off Easy. The Dad Is a Hero.

Yes, I really feel that way.

Washington Man Arrested After Rescuing Daughter, Accused Of Killing Boyfriend Who Allegedly Sex Trafficked Her | The Daily Wire

What did the boyfriend do?

According to Spokane police, the suspect learned in October of 2020 that his juvenile daughter had allegedly been sold into a sex-trafficking ring in the Seattle area. Police said he acquired information that indicated his daughter’s then-boyfriend, the victim, may have been the one responsible for the sale.

The father said in court documents obtained by KREM 2 that she had been sold for $1000. He and his fiancĂ© then drove to Seattle, where they rescued the young girl. The couple drove the girl back to Spokane, where she was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Right. And what did the dad do?

In November 2020, [the suspect] learned his daughter’s boyfriend was going to be at a location in Airway Heights, WA. [The suspect] waited for the victim and confronted the 19-year-old as he arrived. During that encounter [the suspect] abducted the victim, tying him up and placing him in the trunk of a vehicle. [He] subsequently assaulted the victim by hitting him in the head with a cinder block and then stabbed him repeatedly, causing his death. After the homicide, [the suspect] drove the vehicle to a remote area in North Spokane County and abandoned the car with the body still inside.

The kid got off easy.

Pence Is Right

Seriously, there are topics unrelated to Virginia. I promise.

Pence Demands School Officials Resign for 'Cover-Up' of Sexual Assaults (dailysignal.com)

The whole board needs to resign, as well as some administrators at the schools.

But, as events in Loudoun County schools continued to go viral, the former vice president began his remarks by noting: “The eyes of the nation are on Loudoun County, Virginia.”

“It’s amazing to think in recent weeks, Loudoun County has becoming the epicenter of a powerful movement that is spreading all across this country—a movement of concerned parents and patriotic citizens demanding an end to curriculums that divide our nation and accountability for educational bureaucrats who put political correctness ahead of the interest of our kids,” Pence said.

Good start. Now bring it home.

“School board members and anyone responsible for this tragedy and cover-up should resign immediately,” Pence said, referring to sexual assaults that the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said were committed by the same teenage boy at two different high schools.

Yep. They should. If they had any class or decency, they would have already. Of course, if they had any class or decency, this never would have happened in the first place.

Maybe the First Student Walk Out I’ve Ever Been Proud to See

Loudoun County Students Stage Walk-Outs to Protest Sexual Assault in Schools | National Review

Our rapist has been transferred to a new school. It didn’t go over well.

On Tuesday, students walked out of Broad Run High School, where the attacker was relocated and is still technically enrolled. The teenage defendant will receive sentencing after the second set of charges dealing with the Broad Run accusations are adjudicated, the judge said Tuesday.

Outside the school, a group of students chanted “Loudoun County protects rapists,” Drew Wilder of NBC Washington reported. “Why was a rapist allowed in our school?” another student shouted. “This isn’t a political issue, this is a human issue. Listen to the students,” a third student exclaimed.

Good job kids. More protests have occurred at other schools also. Students shouldn’t have to fear getting raped in the bathroom.

Oh, so She Was Asking for It?

I thought that rapist defense went out with bell bottom jeans and Jimmy Carter.

Washington Post Reporter Frames Loudoun County Sexual Assault In Way Paper Would Not Frame Other Accusations | The Daily Wire

Ok, so the girl in question is a slut. I’m sure reading that in the paper is going to continue to make the dad happy.

But she didn’t go in there for consensual sex this time. Unless the paper is trying to bring that into question.

What happened to #BelieveAllWomen

I didn’t realize it was #BelieveAllWomenNotClaimingToBeAttackedBySomeoneInAProtectedGroup

That doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as well.

This is a disgusting attack.

More from Daily Wire:

The wording of the tweet didn’t make it clear that the female victim had sex with the same student in the bathroom prior to her accusation of sexual assault. Jouvenal’s article on the case makes this clear:

During the hearing, the 15-year-old victim in the first case testified she had consensual sexual encounters with the defendant on two occasions in a girls’ bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn. On May 28, she said, the two arranged to meet again and the youth threw her to the floor and forced her to perform sex acts.

What made the final encounter different, according to the female victim’s testimony, is that the male student forced her to perform a sex act she had repeatedly refused to participate in. As the Post reported, the victim and the perpetrator had “sexually charged” conversations on a social media app prior to the assault, during which the young woman repeatedly refused to participate in a particular sex act desired by her attacker. One day before the assault, the victim was hospitalized “because of a health condition that made her weak, and the defendant ‘utilized her physical helplessness’ to take advantage of her,” the Post reported.

“He flipped me over,” the girl testified, per the Post. “I was on the ground and couldn’t move and he sexually assaulted me.”

Jouvenal’s tweet about the article generated a backlash online, with conservative comedian Tim Young wrote: “Oh look… the Washington Post victim blames teens who were raped now.” Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary, Christina Pushaw, wrote: “So what you’re saying is ‘she asked for it’?”

Yes, I see that Christina Pushaw and I had the same reaction.

Once again, this is disgusting, but not surprising. Very little from the left surprises me anymore. They’re all just horrible people.

“Murky” Would Not Be a Word They Would Use if the Roles Were Reversed Here

AP Slams Youngkin For Citing of "Murky Case" of Rape - Victory Girls Blog

Glenn Youngkin wants voters in Virginia to hear an urgent message: Your children are in danger.

In a speech in Northern Virginia’s suburbs last week, the Republican candidate for governor highlighted the murky case of a student who allegedly committed sex crimes in two area schools.

Murky? Murky? While it is proper for an alleged news organization to report charges that have not reached final adjudication as “alleged”, the word murky implies that there is something suspicious or dishonest about those charges.

So much for “Believe All Women”

Suddenly, it’s “murky” when a Democrat is in trouble.

The girl was raped.

She was raped because Virginia schools allow boys in girls bathrooms.

This is not murky.

This is a failure of policy. One that was entirely predictable, and in fact was predicted by many.

But Democrats decided that appealing to a minority constituency was more important than parental concerns about their children’s safety.

And now that the predictable has happened, they want to distance themselves from the whole situation. They can’t. And Youngkin is right to hammer McAuliffe on this. He should hit him hard. Over and over and over.

And AP is stupid to try to cover for McAuliffe on this. They make themselves looks ridiculous.

This Is the Standard Left Playbook

If you disagree with the Left, you’re racist, or stupid, or crazy, or just making stuff up.

You couldn’t possibly disagree with them because they’re wrong, and because you want to protect your family.

‘What Is Phony Exactly?’: Dan Crenshaw Hammers Obama For Dismissing Parents’ ‘Fake Outrage’ At Public Schools | The Daily Wire

What did former President Barack Obama (D-USA) say that got him into trouble?

“He’s accusing schools of brainwashing our kids,” Obama remarked.

“Here we are trying to recover from a global pandemic that has killed more than 700,000 Americans, that has shut down thousands of small businesses and put millions out of work. We don’t have time to be wasting on these phony, trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media’s pedals to juice their ratings,” Obama later said. “And the fact that he’s willing to go along with it? Instead of talking about serious problems that affect serious people? That’s a shame. That’s not what this election is about. That’s not what you need, Virginia.”

Oh yeah. That.

Critics slammed former President Barack Obama after he suggested that recent anger against school administrators in Virginia was due to “trumped-up culture wars.”

“What is phony exactly? The school rape coverup or Terry McAuliffe saying parents shouldn’t be involved in their child’s education? Shameless gaslighting to prop up a candidate the left knows is in serious trouble,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) said.

“Virginia public schools have pushed critical race theory in the classroom, suppressed concerned parents at school board meetings, and covered up for a gender-fluid sexual predator, who allegedly raped two innocent girls,” the Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo replied.

Yeah, that’s about right. Look, this isn’t fake. These are real issues. And the Democrats are on the wrong side of them. Mocking people for believing otherwise isn’t going to make the issue go away, and it’s not likely to win you any votes either.

Obama would have been better off keeping his big mouth shut.

EXCLUSIVE: Terry McAuliffe Evades Reporter Asking About Loudoun County Sex Case | The Daily Wire

How they couldn’t have seen this coming is beyond me.

Someone should write a book about McAuliffe’s campaign and call it “Running Scared”.

I really hope he gets trounced.

Well, Maybe You Should Learn About Such Things Before You Start Calling Parents ”Domestic Terrorists”

Merrick Garland Grilled On Loudoun Case, Says He ‘Doesn’t Know’ About Alleged Sex Assault | The Daily Wire

Garland was, ostensibly, in front of the House committee to discuss the January 6th Capitol Riot, but Republicans took the opportunity to interrogate the attorney general over the NSBA letter that suggested parent complaints at school board meetings could rise to the level of “domestic terrorism” or a “hate crime,” a subsequent DOJ letter directing the FBI to investigate such confrontations, and, specifically, on the sex assault case in Loudoun County.

Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH) kicked off the interrogation, demanding that Garland address the DOJ memo.

Chabot said he “found it deeply disturbing that the National School Boards Association convinced the Biden administration to sic you and your Justice Department, the FBI … on involved parents as if they were domestic terrorists.”

“I can tell you, not in a million years did we dream that one day we would see the Justice Department treat American parents as domestic terrorists,” Chabot said.  “No one has the right to be violent or threaten violence … but we don’t need the vast power of the federal government throwing its weight around.”

How Garland and the Democrats thought this would fly is beyond me. They are clinically insane.

“He Had No History”

Loudoun County Prosecutor Defends Sending Alleged Teen Rapist To Different School: ‘He Had No History’ | The Daily Wire

The Daily Wire reported, earlier in October, that Scott Smith’s daughter was allegedly raped in a high school bathroom by a male student who reportedly identifies as “gender-fluid.” Smith’s face was splashed across news networks and his arrest was used as an example of challenging behavior by parents in a letter from the National School Board Association (NSBA) to the Department of Justice, demanding the DOJ investigate confrontations before they become “domestic terrorism or hate crimes.”

The 15-year-old student, who was, according to Smith, charged with several counts of sexual assault, including a charge of forcible rape and a charge of forcible sodomy — ostensibly violent crimes. The student, however, was transferred to another school within the same district and, reportedly, went on to commit a second sexual assault.

Well, now he has a history.

Wait, he’s “gender fluid”. That’s how “he” got in to the girls’ restroom in the first place. Are we using the correct pronoun? Isn’t that the most important thing in this case?

Do I need to add the sarcasm tag?

Apparently Not ”#HerToo”

Women's Groups Silent on Loudoun School Rape Allegations (dailysignal.com)

Why is that?

Advocacy groups that once emphatically urged the public to “believe all women” are now silent over a viral report that a skirt-wearing male student allegedly raped one of his peers in her school bathroom.

“The left’s silence on the accusations of sexual assault inside Loudoun County schools is absolutely deafening,” Lauren Adams, legal director of the feminist group Women’s Liberation Front, said in a statement to The Daily Signal. “The #MeToo movement advocated for society to believe survivors, but, apparently, that goes out the window when the perpetrator may identify as transgender.”

How you know the whole “#MeToo” movement was a load of crap.

One Down

Loudoun County School Board Member Resigns Following Daily Wire Investigation | The Daily Wire

Need to get rid of the rest. And put them in prison.

For the rest of their lives.

Beth Barts, a far-left member of the Loudoun County School Board, has resigned from her position.

First elected in 2019, Barts has been criticized by parent groups over Critical Race Theory and transgender policies in the school system. Her resignation, which will take effect on November 2, 2021, staves off an ongoing recall attempt.

“This was not an easy decision or a decision made in haste. After much thought and careful consideration, it is the right decision for me and my family,” said Barts in a statement Friday.

There is not a device capable of measuring how little sympathy I have for her.

Sue ‘Em Into Bankruptcy

Parents of Girl Allegedly Assaulted Plan to Sue Loudoun District (dailysignal.com)

The family of a girl who was allegedly assaulted in the bathroom of a Virginia high school plans to pursue legal action against Loudoun County Public Schools over the incident and the aftermath.

“The Smith family has retained the Stanley Law Group of Virginia,” according to a statement from the firm released Thursday. The firm will not only sue the school system in relation to the alleged assault, but it will also take action related to Scott Smith’s arrest during a June 22 meeting of the Loudoun County Public Schools board.

“The facts are that a male student claiming to be ‘gender fluid’ was permitted to enter the girls’ bathroom on May 28 and sexually assault our daughter. Making matters worse, the school system repeatedly failed to protect her thereafter. Then, they concealed the sexual assault from the public while considering formalizing a bathroom access policy that would have—and now has—increased the likelihood of sexual assaults like these,” Smith and his wife, Jess, said in the statement.

There aren’t enough zeros possible for that check.

The Daily Wire reported that in the aftermath of the incident, Stone Bridge High School told Smith that it would handle the situation “in-house,” prompting Smith to protest. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene, and they eventually took Smith’s daughter to a hospital. Loudoun County Public Schools transferred the alleged assailant to another high school

And remember. They knew. It wasn’t the rapist’s first offense.

n Oct. 7, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office stated that a student had been arrested for carrying out an assault in a local school bathroom on Oct. 6. On Oct. 13, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office stated that the alleged perpetrator of the Oct. 6 incident was also accused of the alleged assault of Smith’s daughter on May 28 at Stone Bridge High School.

“What happened to Mr. and Mrs. Smith and their daughter in Loudoun County is absolutely abhorrent and unacceptable. It is a nightmare no family should have to endure, yet it has happened twice in Loudoun Schools in the same year by the same perpetrator,” said Bill Stanley of the Stanley Law Group.

“To date, no one with Loudoun County Public Schools or the school board has been held accountable for the wrong done to the Smith family. Our firm intends to rectify that,” Stanley added.

Good.

Loudoun County schools covered up rape, prosecuted a concerned father to protect transgender agenda | Washington Examiner

The article in the Daily Wire is better, but subscriber only.

Loudoun County Schools Tried To Conceal Sexual Assault Against Daughter In Bathroom, Father Says | The Daily Wire

The Washington Examiner has a good summary.

The story highlights the arrest of a Virginia father who tried to protest pro-transgender policies the Loudoun County School Board was trying to implement at a June 22 meeting. Scott Smith was trying to tell the board that this ninth-grade daughter had been raped in the girl’s restroom by a boy wearing a skirt. Another woman at the meeting, a leftist community activist, told Smith she didn’t believe his daughter. He fired back, a police officer stepped in and grabbed Smith’s arm, Smith yanked it away, and then he was arrested.

The parent of the raped daughter was arrested. The school board who made it all possible and who were defending the rapist, were not.

The world is turned upside down.

Many parents (including myself) have warned that allowing boys to use girls bathrooms under the guise of tolerance of transgenderism is inherently dangerous. And we did not want our girls put into a situation like that. We feared what might happen.

We were mocked, ridiculed and (at best) ignored.

I understand gender dysphoria. I understand not wanting to be bound by society’s ideas on what defines you as a member of a particular gender. But the answer can’t be that boys can go in with the girls. We probably need to go to private single occupancy restrooms in all public places.

Anyway, here’s what happened in Virginia.

The Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak writes:

Two girls, allegedly sexually assaulted in school, four months apart, by the same person. And so far, the only person to be convicted of a crime is the victim’s father.
A school policy passed following what appear to be false statements from the superintendent — a policy whose passage would have been politically impossible had Smith’s story seen the light of day.

This is truly outrageous. Loudoun County failed Smith, his daughter, and every single other parent who sends their children to its schools. School officials covered up what happened to Smith’s daughter so they could force through an unpopular and dangerous policy in the name of inclusion. When Smith tried to protest, they arrested him.

And as Rosiak notes, the local leftist prosecutor, known generally for being soft on criminals, nonetheless went out of her way to throw the book at Smith for daring to speak out about the transgender rapist who victimized his daughter.

How could Loudoun County parents possibly justify sending their children back to such schools as the ones these people run?

The boy was a known rapist. He had attempted this before at another school. How could Louden County have allowed this to occur.

Smith didn’t do anything wrong. If it had been my daughter, me screaming at a school board meeting would be the least of their worries.

They say “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”. I’d put “father whose daughter has just been raped” above that. We as a group tend to be rather over-protective of our daughters. The school board got lucky.
