Chris Cuomo weighed in on the allegations made against his brother during an interview on SiriusXM, saying, “The game has rules.”

“And one of the general principles is you can fight against the other party, and you can fight against the media, but only if you have your party,” Chris Cuomo said. “Andrew had his party enforcing a rule against him that if you have accusations, you have problems, and you don’t really get to really vet the accusations, and you don’t get to go against your accusers.”

Yes, Andrew Cuomo is the true victim here.

“Chris Cuomo admitted to contacting colleagues of Farrow for updates but claimed it was simply ‘business-as-usual’ to employ such methods,” Fox’s report continued. “Text messages released by state investigators showed top Andrew Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa asking about ‘intel’ the CNN anchor had about Farrow’s report on March 15, to which he replied it wasn’t ready for publication. Farrrow’s story was eventually published on March 18. “

Nice having a brother on the inside. Didn’t end up helping Andrew in the long run, though. Too bad.

It was all lies.

Politico noted one instance where Cuomo, seeking to draw attention to the number of tickets issued for non-compliance with COVID guidelines at his nationally-televised daily press briefings, “suggested that the state health department deploy half its roughly 5,000 employees to check restaurants for their compliance with the state’s mask-wearing and capacity limit rules.”

“He was like, ‘You could use them like an army,’” said the official, who spoke to Politico on condition of anonymity. The official, who was on the phone call where Cuomo suggested the idea, described it as “an impossible request,” but said that no one could turn the governor down. “[T]he call ended and no one said ‘no’ to him … No one could explain to him how bad the idea was,” the official said.

But Trump and DeSantis are the crazy ones.

New York State health officials and employees resigned in droves because of a work environment that was described as “frantic” and “based in politics, not science,” the report detailed. Officials said they often worked from early in the morning until midnight, while dealing with severely low morale due to the mounting death toll and resources that were stretched thin. One health official, whose testimony was included in the New York Attorney General’s investigation into Cuomo’s handling of the COVID-19 response, reportedly told investigators that working conditions at the Department of Health had so deteriorated that they asked one of the largest public-sector unions in the state, the Public Employees Federation, if they had legal recourse when it came to matters like unpaid overtime, which they were told was “not illegal during a public health crisis.”

They should have removed this man from office much sooner. And they would have, if the media hadn’t been protecting him and telling us all how amazing he was.

Lies.

Many people died from it. But they have no shame.

The only thing to be surprised about is that the assembly investigation was willing to put everything into writing. They must really, truly, loathe this guy.

However, the more important part of the report is the section that should bring criminal charges. This is about the deliberate concealment of nursing home deaths, and the use of his staff to write his self-promoting book.

In a 46-page report released on Monday, the Assembly Judiciary Committee also found that Mr. Cuomo used state workers and other public resources to write, publish and promote his memoir about his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, a likely violation of state ethics laws.”

The inquiry also concluded that Mr. Cuomo “was not fully transparent regarding the number of nursing home residents who died as a result of Covid-19,” and its findings had led one committee member to say that there “would be a very reasonable inference” that there was some correlation between Mr. Cuomo’s $5.1 million book deal and his administration’s manipulation of nursing home death data.”

With regard to his book, “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic,” the report concluded that the governor “utilized the time of multiple state employees, as well as his own, to further his personal gain during a global pandemic.”

Mr. Cuomo has said that any work done on his book was completed on a volunteer basis, yet the report found that the work had taken place during normal work hours, “as a part of the regular course of work in the executive chamber.”

The report indicates that the work was not voluntary, and that one senior state official had complained to a colleague that work on the book had compromised that official’s ability to focus on the Covid crisis.”

Wow. That is harsh.

I can’t help it. I giggle every time I see a story about this pathetic scumbag. I would say that he’s getting his just desserts, but he can’t possibly get as much as he deserves.

Hinton claims it’s because the title contains the word “penis.” The writer highlighted the social media platform’s double standards, noting the existence of multiple Facebook Pages about the book Vagina Monologues, suggesting the censorship may be for another reason.

Yeah, with what I used to see regularly on Facebook back when I had an account, I have a hard time believing that the word “penis” is a problem.

The complaint alleges that Cuomo “did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim … and onto her intimate body part … specifically, the victims [sic] left breast for the purposes of degrading and satisfying his sexual desire.”

Yes, it’s a misdemeanor, but he’s going to get a mug shot and be printed and have to show up in court. This is almost too good to be true.

Cuomo’s confidence seems unfounded. In the wake of Attorney General Letitia James’s report, which concluded that the governor committed sexual harassment against at least eleven women in violation of state and federal law, a majority of Democrats in the New York State legislature supported impeachment. Some even supported impeaching him despite his resignation.

Cuomo’s a schmuck. This is delicious schadenfreude. He deserves all this and more.

Last March, as Gov. Phil Murphy (D-N.J.) ordered nursing homes to admit patients recovering from COVID-19, nursing home administrators warned New Jersey Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli that the new policy amounted to a death sentence for elderly residents.

“Patients will die,” an unidentified administrator declared, according to a recording of the March 21, 2020 meeting first reported by NJ Advance Media. “You understand that by asking us to take COVID patients, by demanding we take COVID patients, that patients will die in nursing homes that wouldn’t have otherwise died had we screened them out.”

About 8,000 COVID-19 deaths — roughly 40 percent of New Jersey’s 21,000 COVID-19 deaths — trace back to nursing homes and other long-term care facilities. On March 31, Murphy’s administration directed nursing homes to re-admit residents who had been discharged from hospitals while recovering from COVID-19.

They knew. They didn’t care. They were too busy getting on TV and promoting themselves.

Like the kids in cages in the last post, I’m sure this is all Trump’s fault somehow. He was out herding up senior citizens and shoving them into China Virus dens.

Andrew Cuomo did this.

And the left and the media (but I repeat myself) let him get away with it. Because it was important to show how great Democrats are and how awful Trump was.

Now we know the truth.

In 2017, President Donald Trump invited reporters, including CNN, to a dinner at the White House as a gesture of goodwill to get to know them. Nobody can tell you what happened during that dinner, about any interesting tidbits journalists may have learned about what was happening at the top level of our government, but they can tell you how many scoops of ice cream the president consumed.

This is because for weeks following the dinner, there were hundreds of stories about how President Trump had two scoops of ice cream, while everyone else had one. Nobody asked for a second, of course, but the implication was that the president is rude and thoughtless, punishing the misbehaving media by giving them less ice cream.

Ah. If only the media had been as diligent recording Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) transgressions. A point the article makes abundantly clear:

If Cuomo’s handling of the coronavirus had faced half the level of scrutiny that the ice cream did, perhaps the public would have been informed and been able to protect themselves and their elderly loved ones. Instead, the governor was granted gushing segments with his brother on CNN, given an undeserved Emmy, and paraded around as the hero — up against the villain Trump.

Instead of asking questions and digging for answers, the media ran cover for Cuomo as New Yorkers suffered. The state is now a shell of the beautiful place that it once was.

I still say he deserves the Emmy. I didn’t see a better acting job all last year.

The 25-year-old staffer described to the Times an incident that took place in June when she was "alone" with the 63-year-old governor in his State Capitol office. According to the report, he allegedly asked her if she thought age made a difference in romantic relationships and that he was open to having relationships with women in their 20s, which were noted by the Times as "comments she interpreted as clear overtures to a sexual relationship."

I’m sure no HR department would have problems with this.

As I keep saying, I expect Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) to survive his current issues. But maybe the fact that these items are now coming forth hints otherwise.

Well, as I said previously, an Emmy is for acting, right? He is certainly a great actor.

On Feb. 12, the New York Post reported that top Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa admitted to lawmakers on a private call that the team underreported the number of patients placed in nursing homes by 40%. “[W]e froze,” she said. “We weren’t sure if … what we start saying was going to be used against us.”

But he’ll likely survive this. He’s a Democrat, and the left-wing propaganda machine will continue to cover for him.

This week Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) took his daughters on a trip to Cancun in the midst of a winter freeze in his home state of Texas.

Meanwhile, Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) battled accusations that he covered up the deaths of thousands in NY nursing homes.

Easy to decide which should get more coverage, right?

Only the “CBS Evening News” gave Cuomo (1:45) more coverage than Cruz (45 seconds).

That’s 6:52 spent covering Cuomo, and 51:31 for Cruz.

That seems about right.

He’s argued that his state was following federal guidelines when he ordered those long-term care facilities to accept patients returning from hospitals. I wonder, can you clear that up. Was he actually following federal guidelines to do that?”

“You know, Jim, I can’t,” Fauci replied. “I mean, I’m sorry. I’m really — I’m honestly not trying to evade your question, but I’m not really sure of all the details of that, and I think if I make a statement, it probably could either be incorrect or taken out of context. So, I prefer not to comment on that.”

Oddly, he wasn’t nearly so silent on New York earlier. What changed?

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci on Friday praised New York for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, saying the state did it “correctly.”

“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” Fauci said in an interview on “PBS NewsHour.”

Maybe what changed is that now the Democrat is in trouble instead of being praised.

"Think about seniors, who their lives were in the balance and their families, you know, just desperate to get them the help they needed," de Blasio continued. "We need to know exactly what happened here. We need to make sure nothing like this ever happens again."

The fact that he was made out to be a hero by leftist media would be funny if it weren’t so disgusting. Hopefully Cuomo will pay, but I doubt it.
