Between shutting down pipelines, drilling, and the general inflation caused by the Biden administration, they are directly responsible.
The GOP should be able to use this as a successful attack over the next year. And with gas prices skyrocketing and no apparent end in sight, this should have legs. Heating your home is going to be the most expensive it’s ever been this winter.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso (R) pointed out gas prices have surged much higher than they were when Biden took office. He pointed to Biden’s day-one energy policies as the main reason why oil and gas prices have skyrocketed, adding how his administration is seeking help from OPEC and Russia.
Gas prices have risen by about 50 percent since the start of 2021. Republicans also said heading into winter months, the prices for natural gas is sure to rack up astronomical costs for Americans who use gas to heat their homes.
